Established in 1994, we’ve been servicing beautiful Kitsap County for over 20 years. We’ve had the same ownership all of these years.

Our shop has completed the rigorous investigation and inspections of the AAA to become one of the very few shops in our area to become an AAA Approved Auto Repair Shop.

Being a smaller shop allows us to get to know our customers and their vehicles better. That means when you become a member of our customer family, you’ll get great treatment. My experience was a positive one. I didn’t know the service history of a used car I had purchased and brought it in for transmission service. The inspected the transmission fluid and advised that it did not need to be changed, saving me about $ 200. In their safety inspection they found a worn wheel bearing, which is potentially deadly. They performed that work promptly and for a fair price.

Took my car in to be looked at and the solution was simple as all I needed was a new key and they decided it would cost them $ 218 just to look at it. Forget this place they lost my business.

Worst experience ever!!! I wouldn’t trust these people if my life depended on it ! My car went in for a normal oil change. Next day my car broke down and they said it was because it needed a bunch of parts .$ 900 later and the next day it breaks down again in the middle of the freeway! (A 60k car I might add) I had it towed it back to them again an hour later I get a call «sorry our mistake all of this happened because we put too much oil in it» what a joke!

My husband & I have only been going to Silverdale AutoWorks for a year but they’ve done phenomenal work each time. We have an A4 Audi & needed to find mechanics that knew how to works on European cars. My husband is also in the military so is gone most of the time I take the car in. Also keep in mind, I don’t know the details of what isn’t working in the car. When I take it in, they explain everything to me & if I need to leave the car there over night, they’ve given me their loaner car for a few days util they could return me mine.
Most recently, I stupidly took my car to Jiffy Lube because it was closest to where I currently was. My check engine oil light came on & I realized the hood of the car was jammed. Jiffy lube told me after 30 min of waiting, that my car was FUBR (fucked up beyond repair) & that I would have to take it to a dealership where they’d tear it up & it would cost a lot of money. I immediately drove over to AutoWorks where they weren’t familiar with the issue but opened the hood in less than 10 min, no charge.
This place is a blessing to us & always recommend it to our friends :)

Here’s my story: Took car in Dec. 2012 to have clutch replaced, it cost approximately $ 999.00 dollars. Soon after, i noticed the clutch progressed in getting stuck, I thought, perhaps it needs time to loosen; well, there is a 24 month coverage. Forward to March, 2014, I took the car in and had the pleasure of meeting a Receptionist (mechanic wanna be) named Lena Richards. I explained that my clutch got stuck and almost caused an accident, she showed no concern, instead she went in to «defense mode» stating «there is such thing as «wear n’ tear; simply, obnoxious, and rude. She told me that the Master clutch may need to be change, however, it’s not covered; she could not be sure. Bottom line? She is going to save the company money. Later, she called me and happily says «it’s not the clutch.» I paid approx. tly $ 200. 00 dollars more to have the clutch cable replace. Folks, the car clutch is still getting stuck. I wouldn’t take a toy car to Silverdale Autoworks to be repair. I’m going to take it to another mechanic. I wish you luck.

Very expensive! I took my 2005 Accord to replace my starter and they charged me $ 524. They did fix the problem on the same day, which was great. The staff is not friendly at all. I had to ask for every piece of information that I wanted to know. (i.e. is the part new? Does it come with a warranty? Stuff like that) It just seemed as if I was inconveniencing them and all the other work they had to complete. Only took my car there because I needed the work done on the same day.

It is nice to find a reliable, knowledgeable shop in town. We had our 4Runner in there to have the timing belt replaced, amongst a few other things. They did a great job. Their customer service is outstanding. They communicate with you very well. You can even set up an appointment online. That is what we did when we brought it in a second time to have our drive shaft worked on. They honored the requested appointment time I asked for online and they called to verfiy it. Reasonable rates and quailty work are rare in this line of work. We were very pleased with this business!

I have found the Silverdale Auto people to be not only tremendously helpful but courteous and polite at all times. The price is a bit high compared to other repair places but I feel that the extra cost has been worth the service that I receive in return. One of the best things I can comment on is that as a woman I have never felt like they talk down to me like many other auto services often do with single women. AT Silverdale Auto they are always careful to explain without being condescending in any way. I appreciate this tremendously. Thank you!

Ken is great at explaining what is going on with your car and laying out all the options and then working with you to get the job done. Ive had nothing but great experiences with these guys.

Great Shop! Very helpful and willing to negotiate… Its hard being in the military and from out of state and finding a reliable autoshop. Other places such as goodyear or firestone will rip you off! Highly recommend this auto shop also has 2 year warrantys!

This is a great shop. The work quality is excellent, the advice is sound, the price is reasonable and there are no surprises. We all know that repair shop surprises are never a good thing.
If you are out in Kitsap county, these guys are worth a try.

I have mixed reviews about this place. We used them a couple of years ago for two different problems and for one problem, they were quite helpful and courteous. However, the last problem we had with our car was diagnosed completely wrong here and the value of the repair was therefore completely overestimated. Although they advised that this repair be done, I then went to the local Autozone and was referred to another mechanic down the street for a 2nd opinion (which was AWESOME but I can’t remember his name!). Well… turns out, he actually put my car up on a platform and showed me exactly what was going on with my brakes and explained to me why and how the problem existed. I didn’t have to just take his word for it, but he insisted that I actually see for myself what was going on. Now this is what I look for in a mechanic!
Not only did Silverdale Autoworks not offer to do this, they completely misdiagnosed the problem which would have cost a LOT more to fix. This is why I have mixed reviews about this place.

If you’re looking for a reputable and reliable auto repair shop (yes, they DO exist!), this place is the way to go.
While my husband and I were waiting for our vehicle, we overheard other customers’ situations. One that stood out to me was a customer who needed some parts replaced, and Silverdale Autoworks charged her $ 200 less than the quote she received from another auto repair shop (no special deals or anything).

The employees were very courteous and helpful. They took the time to explain exactly what the issues were– in layman’s terms– and were happy to answer questions.
I’ve never received such excellent service from an auto repair shop. My husband and I will be taking our vehicles here from now on, and we will be recommending them to our friends and family.
