I have lived in Wildernest a long time. I recall going to this gas station at the bottom of our mountain so many times over the last decade. Tonight I went and was pleasantly surprised they had a bottle of Madori. Every time since they have not had it in the liquor store area. Perhaps the tall cute guy finally ordered a few bottles. I was looking for another green liquor called TY-Ku, was told it glows and I know it tastes good. Most places in Summit don’t carry it. I also went to buy a co-workers favorite beer called Dogfish Head 60 minute. They didn’t have it but locals liquors does. I’m picky when I drink, prefer a good tasting liquor, not just tequila, whiskey, vodka or whatever. Prices are a bit high, but is to be expected for convenience. Hours are short, even on weekends. Closes at 10pm. i guess i never got rid of that city attitude and wanting things open late. Overall an okay place. Liquor store on one side, convenience store on the other. I do like that, probably a good thing for the business owner too.
