I have never ever been treated so badly by a Technician. I called them to look at my furnace because it is not working. I chose them because they advertised a $ 29 service call on the internet. They quoted me $ 89. I mentioned their ad so they agreed to come out for $ 29.00. When the Tech arrived my Pomeranian was barking and he asked me to put my pet up. I was holding her but he wanted her put away so I put her in my daughter’s room. Okay, not a problem, I realize not everyone likes dogs. When we went to the basement where my furnace is the Tech refused to go in. He said my house was filthy, repulsive and disgusting. And if that wasn’t enough insult, on the way out he said«are you aware there’s a foul odor in your home»? Yes my basement is messy but I made sure he had a clear path to the furnace. I’ve had technicians down there before and it’s never been problem. When I called the Supervisor Dean he backed up his Tech, said he didn’t want him exposed to MRSA(?) and said their was an odor coming from the«walls» and dirty dishes in the sink, SO? Honestly I think they didn’t want to waste their time at my house for $ 29.00. I noticed that after I scheduled my appt. that they removed their ad for a $ 29 service chg. from the internet. But was it really necessary to insult me to the extent that he did? If they only like working in homes that meet their standards of neatness, then they should let people know before they come out.
