Cherry On Top

By far the best frozen yogurt in Simi! Yogurt is creamier (since its milk based) and they have a wider fun selection. Employees are always nice. Kayla was super helpful and sweet!

I stopped by for some good frozen yogurt on 8÷12÷14 and unfortunately Cherry On Top has gone out of business.

I don’t recall the yogurt flavor I had (it was my mom’s choice), but it was in a waffle cone with the pearl filled toppings. The place doesn’t stand out, but I’d go here for a craving if in the area. They have a discount if you check in on 4sq.

Good little place to get self-​serve frozen yogurt. They have about ten different flavors to choose from and they always seem to have Cake Batter which is my favorite. They also offer hot fudge, caramel, and peanut butter which I really like. There are tons of toppings to choose from including fruit, all kinds of candies, sugary cereal, and several kinds of chocolate chips. The price is very decent and they do offer specials during the week. The employees are friendly and helpful. The place is fairly clean. There are a few tables and chairs inside and outside to eat at. The parking lot sometimes gets crowded due to the El Torito and Toppers in the same area. We usually can find a spot around the back. When we are in the mood for frozen yogurt, this is always our first choice.

This small little Simi self serve yogurt shop has a lot of competition in town, and I for one am glad that it has made it this long.
The store is small, and there is normally only one crew member. The Yogurt is good, and they have weekday deals to make it often inexpensive for large quanties. They have every topping you probably are looking for, and a good mix of flavors. Birthday Cake and Chocolate swirl is my favorite.
There is not much to make Cherry on Top stand out from the crowd. It’s not bad, but it is not strong enough to make this the only shop in Simi I want to come back to. They’re all pretty equal in my book.

Never busy, very quiet but solid selection of toppings. I go hear because it is local and I won’t have to wait like I do at places like Tizzy’s.
Self-​serve is always a winner for me.

Was running errands all day when I needed a break. It’s insanely hot out so this was perfect. Clean place and good tasting yogurt. Some interesting toppings.
Spoke to one of the employees. She said they have four standard yogurts and switch out with 6 others. Will have to come back when they have pink lemonade. :)

Turns out if you buy a ton of candy at Rocket Fizz, they give you coupons for Cherry on Top. Today was 98 degrees in Simi Valley. I thought it would be an ideal time to use said coupon to a frozen yogurt place for lunch. The parking lot over there is kinda tricky, but one can find a ‘warm and cozy’ parking space for their car if you drive around and look. I walked across the parking lot and entered here. It smelled of ‘sterile’ honestly. The pink walls and white chairs & tables reinforced the ‘cherry on top’ theme. I walked in, and flashed the coupon. Girl behind the counter nodded and informed me that I could use the coupon, or I could use the current $ 5 ‘fill it up’ deal. Then she did her best to describe how much ‘$ 5 of frozen yogurt’ was. I perused their options, they’ve got a lot of options. Each station has a right lever, a left lever, and a middle lever to mix the flavors. There were 5 or 6 stations, and two or three platforms chock full of topping options. Candy, fruit, and even that boba stuff. I had many many options to concoct the perfect frozen yogurt desert.
It might make me a boring guy, but I got a cup of french vanilla frozen yogurt. No toppings, no sauces, no nothin. Just plain french vanilla frozen yogurt. I brought my cup up to the girl, and placed it on the scale. Total was 5.71, and then $ 1 off for the coupon knocked it down to under 5 bucks. A fair deal for lunch. I’m glad to learn about that ‘fill it up for 5 bucks’ though. My friend used that deal. 5 bucks to fill up a medium cup with whatever you wanted too. That’s a pretty good lunch special.
My plain vanilla yogurt with no toppings was really quite refreshing and tasty in the crazy heat. Now that I know about that $ 5 deal, I’ll most definitely consider it as a lunch option as the California heat gets cranking. Thanks guys!

We love this place! If we are looking for yogurt in Simi Valley, we always come here. We love this little place. The price is right, the yogurt is great and you can have asana topping as you want. Endless creations and great staff. This place has it all. Keep up the great work!

After having some dinner with my fiancé at the time (hubs now), we were craving a nice refreshing dessert and happened to stumble on COT (thanks Unilocal!). It’s in the Toppers shopping center and tucked away in the back of the strip. This is a small fro-​yo place that offers a few variety of fro-​yo flavors and limited amount of toppings. Sometimes having too many choices can be a bad thing, so I really liked how this place offered less. We’ll definitely be coming back when were in the area again. Hopefully it’ll still be there.

The store is clean, the employees are very friendly, and the prices are competitive. I do like that competitor coupons are accepted as I am always looking to save a buck or two when eating out. The flavors available are limited– though I assume they change regularly. The consistency of the yogurt differs from other frozen yogurt places. It is creamy, but not smooth as if it is lacking fat or milk solids. The pumpkin was the best tasting of the few I tried as it had the most flavor. The espresso was a little bland which was disappointing as I love that rich coffee flavor. However, they offer a wide variety of toppings and I was impressed at how well organized and clean the topping bar was.

Back tonight for some frozen yogurt. I just can’t get over how good this stuff is. I am like a kid in a candy store at this place. The owner Lori was on site and she and her place are great. I will be back with friends. So in the event you are like me and missed the Frozen Yogurt craze in the 80s and 90s, here is the deal, you pick your flavors yourself and then put your topping on yourself and then they weight it and charge you $ 0.39 cents an ounce; easy. This location is very clean and the staff here is friendly. They have extra chairs out front which is a nice touch on nice nights like tonight. I am sold on this place and am now a regular. For the most party I enjoy this little yogurt shop. Its not as crowded as YogurtLand which is really nice and the employees are all real nice and always smiling. Dillion the younger guy who works at night is always so helpful and really friendly! He always takes care of us! Also Monday thru Fri if you go in before 5PM its as much as you can fill your cup for 5 dollars! I will admit though, parking is kind of a pain sometimes.

Nice little yogurt shop where you pay by the weight of the yogurt dish you prepare.
My son had a great time picking out his flavors and adding a plethora of toppings including Nerds, Gummy Bears and Sour Patch Worms!
Good location. Plenty of parking. Very clean store. Pleasant employee served us.

In the world of Simi Valley frozen yogurt, Cherry on Top provides a decent product, good prices, with shorter lines than Yogurtland.
COT is located in the same shopping center as El Torito and Toppers Pizza, thus the parking lot is a bit of a nightmare. Prices are on par with Yogurtland but the taste isn’t as creamy. The shorter lines are a plus and the store is well kept.
I probably wouldn’t make a special trip here if I was on the hunt for just frozen yogurt but I’d go here after a meal at Toppers.

Good, priced like the rest.

This place is the best!
In the past I was never a fan of frozen yogurt, but after finding Cherry On Top I’ve become a BIG fan. It’s so creamy! Now I’d rather have this instead of regular ice cream. My favorite yogurt flavors — Cake Batter and Cappuccino; favorite toppings — Captain Crunch and Sprinkles.
Anytime I have someone visiting, this is the place we go to have dessert. Love the whole self serve thing and they have a great variety of yogurt and toppings.
If you are going there for the first time, just know they weigh your cup to determine the price.

Cute little place with some yummy yogurts. It is really nothing different from the other fro-​yo places in Simi and maybe even a few less flavor options as well. Got the Peanut Butter Cup and it was delicious!
I would have given this place 4 stars but I was kind of disappointed that we got there at 9:20pm (tonight) and the guy working there was already wrapping up all of the toppings… They close at 10 so Im not sure why he was putting them away. Felt weird, but my husband made sure he let him get some berries!

Love this place! I was excited when I found out they had just opened this new one in Simi Valley. They have flavorful yogurt, and they have a good variety of toppings to choose from. I must say though, the Cherry on Top in LIttle tokyo is better. They Have more yogurt selection to choose from, and a lot more toppings and syrups as well. This place is still the best in the area when it comes to frozen yogurt, so if you are a fan of fro yo then definitely check this place out.
