I really wanted to give the guy a good review. I found him personally OK, but I should have read some reviews. Got him at first through home insurance warranty like so many others. He couldn’t fix my dishwasher. He kept trying different things, which is OK, I understand. But what bothered me in the end was that he put us on his calendar and never showed although it was a follow up appointment. He always put us behind other people on his schedule although he kept having to come back for the same problem with us. So the last time he didn’t show on the agreed date because he (presumably) forgot to put us on his calendar; then refused to squeeze us in! Our dishwasher hasn’t been working in a month (newer, high quality dishwasher). And he never even called us back after this mishap. Enough!

Once again I can’t say enough how thankful I am for DSA appliance!
I asked them yesterday if they could try to squeeze me in to their busy schedule and without hesitation they did.
Sent out Dario who did an amazing job and fixed our church freezer no charge!
Thank you so much Dario!
You have really blessed us and the people we serve in our community!
Normally the repair cost is about $ 200 but he still did it no charge! Wouldn’t even accept a tip!

Minus 0 stars! The owner Dario is very RUDE! All these claim comments are absolutely true! Buyer beware. This guy has no idea how to fix any appliance –much less know how to communicate what the problem or resolution can be. It took this person almost 2 months to try to discover the problem. No clue. We got someone else who not only diagnosed the issue on the first call –but also fixed my appliance ON THE FIRST TRY! Don’t waste your time with this company. Dario states that they service hundreds of customers weekly –haha what a joke. I bet none of them to any satisfaction. We were stuck with this guy due to a home warranty protocol. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for ANY service! Thumbs down

We contacted DSA APPLIANCE in order to get our refrigerator fixed. Per technician Dario, our refrigerator ‘s drainage is clogged up and it’ll cost $ 300 to fix it! We tried to negotiate with him and asked if he could lower his quote as it seems too high. Dario was quick to say his price is set and there’s no way the quote can get any lower. I tried to ask him again but he rudely said «I have to put the fridge back together!», I told him not to fix our fridge as he just lost our business because of his nasty rude attitude. I would’ve considered paying $ 200 or maybe even $ 250 to get the drainage unclogged, but that guy was just nasty! He had zero business manners and he certainly needed some customer service skills.
You’re better off looking for another company to fix your fridge. Rude people don’t deserve your business. He certainly didn’t deserve ours. We just wasted $ 69 to have that nasty man tell us it’s a clogged drainage!
Don’t bother to call this company!

Horrible experience Poor customer service by Miguel Problem not fixed + giving me a lecture how they run their business and how should I handled the problem it was just out of this world.

First the technician doesn’t call back. Then when he finally calls back, he schedules a time to come, and then during the same 5 MINUTE CONVERSATION, he decides he doesn’t want to do the job anymore. Yikes. Wish I would have read these reviews before I let him in my house.

Have had a number of repair people referred by our home warranty company. Many have been tedious folks going through the motions without much interest in customer service.
Best luck previously had been with Matt at The Appliance Clinic from Newbury Park. Sadly, he gave up working with the home warranty companies because he didn’t agree with their policies which were not homeowner friendly. His honesty was always refreshing.
Then yesterday, Dario from DSA Appliance came. He was very personable, informative, and kind. We had a leak under the refrigerator. Turned out to be a temporary situation caused by too much overflow into the drainage pan.
He tested everything and showed us how he was using the water filter to get fresh water out without a further leak. He extracted the excess water from the overflow pan to ensure it wouldn’t slosh while being put back in place. He urged us to call him if the problem recurred.
He also answered questions about the dishwasher and washing machine. Will ask for him specifically the next time we need appliance repairs.

Ugh… I should have read the Unilocal reviews! This guy is not only inept, he’s rude! Has a really nice gig with the home warranty company. Basically you pay $ 60.00 for him to «fix» it, than it breaks in 31 days and you get to pay again. When I said I was sick of the half ass job, I paid him $ 296.00 to get the job done. Of course, you guessed it, 34 days later and hundreds of dollars in spoiled food, same problem! Bottom line, 6 visits over 5 months and he could not fix the problem. The same experience as the other reviews. Don’t waste your time.

Was assigned DSA appliance by my home warranty company to fix my stove. They came out literally 5 times to fix issues with the burner, but were unable too. While at my house, I overheard the technician call the warranty company and report that he cannot reproduce the issue (I reproduced it right in front of his eyes), and that we should get ‘a second opinion’. Burners still don’t light! Not particularly honest, accurate, or at all effective.

Dario came as scheduled and fixed my ice machine in the fridge. It was great because he already had the right part. I hate waiting for parts to come in. Nice guy too.

I wasted so much time by contacting this company. My refrigerator was not working and I had an initial appliance repair guy come out and give me a quote for a refrigerator repair. It was too expensive so I contacted my warranty company who referred me to DSA appliance. I spoke with Dario and told him what I was quoted. He said he could do the job for cheaper (between 300 and 600 dollars), so I scheduled a time for him to come look at the fridge. He came on a Friday and did a repair for the cheaper part. It was around $ 350 dollars. The next day (Saturday), the fridge was still not cooling so I asked him to come back. He said he would come on Monday. This was irritating as I would not have a fridge for several more days, but I said okay. He came on Monday and changed out the other part. This would cost around $ 600 dollars. I gave him the check but asked him not to cash it until Friday because I had my wallet stolen so I was closing an old bank account and waiting for all funds to be moved to a new account. I was doing it so he would not have to potentially deal with a bounced check. After this repair, however, the fridge was still not working. So, we scheduled for him to return on Friday, August 1^st. He came and he still did not know what was wrong with the fridge. In his words, he said «there is something I am missing.» I told him that I just want my money back since these repairs are the same amount of money as a new fridge. And, I said I would like to not pay the full service fee since the fee is for a diagnosis and he clearly did not have an accurate diagnosis. He then had the nerve to tell me «Oh, I know what is wrong with this refrigerator. You just can’t afford it! I called your bank and they said you do not have enough money.» 1) I have more than enough money to cover a refrigerator repair. 2) The bank does not give out numbers to just anybody. 3) How shady! I thanked him for coming and let him out of my apartment. I got my check back and will never give a cent to this company.

My service provider was the most helpful and professional appliance man I have every had. I have been a home owner for 23 years and never had someone be willing to offer great free advice and support. I am used to repair men finding more problems that need addressed that cost me more money. His advice cost me less money.
