Great tasting Chinese food with generous portions at an affordable price! This is the kind of Chinese restaurant I will always return to because they know how to cook. The service is also very good. Maybe next time we will try the buffet/stir fry your way but for now I’m happy with the quality of their menu items.

I’ve been to many different Mongolian BBQ style places over the years, and this one has the most selection, and is a quick and clean place to get a delicious mountain of Mongolian! With an all-you-can-eat dinner and complimentary extras like soup, wontons, bread pockets, and juicy oranges for desert, you cannot help waddling out of there and busting a button on your pants while grinning.

If you’re going here for anything other than the serve yourself Mongolian BBQ, you’re gonna have a bad time. Myself and my family went here some months back. The waitress told us that we ordered too much.(??? Who does that???) The older waitress they have there speaks horrible English but also does not understand, so be prepared to repeat yourself about 50 times. Their cold drink case is filled with expired drinks that she tries to argue you into taking. I saw someone approach her because things were on their bill that they did not order/did not get. She didn’t understand what they were saying, so it took about 15 minutes to straighten out. I placed a phone order, was told it would be ready for pick up in 20 minutes. Showed up after 25 minutes: not ready and she told me they didn’t even have an order. –_–

Great food at a great price. I’m honestly surprised to see it listed as a «$$» place rather than just one$. Two adults get all you can eat meal with egg drop soup, bread, and wontons for under $ 15 each. I’ve been here a couple times and it’s been a good choice each time. The place is clean and the staff are friendly. I never had to ask to get my water refilled, which is rare in most restaurants these days.

Came here tonight and really enjoyed it! The Mongolian bbq is delicious and it’s all you can eat! I only ate once, but my boyfriend went up twice lol! The ingredients are fresh, and the sauces are great. The place is clean and the service is awesome. Everyone was really friendly, and I would totally come back. The only thing that wasn’t good was the cream cheese wontons we ordered. There was hardly any cheese, mainly crab that didn’t taste fresh. We each tried one and left the rest because they were bad enough not to finish(That’s rare for us). The soup they brought before our meal and friend dumplings were great, and the pocket bread was hot and fresh too. Bottom line is, check it out, but don’t get the cream cheese wontons, and if you do, don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Recently visited and later that night had stomach issues. I noticed how greasy the tables and unsanitary the floors. Needs a bit of cleaning and carful eye to detail as someone will get seriously sick if you guys don’t clean your kitchen and your damn tables! Would be cautious of this restaurant.

The best hidden bonus to this place is the Chinese Menu that offers an outstanding selection of Chinese dishes! My favorites are MaPo Tofu, Chow Fun dishes, Fish Fillet with Hot Sauce, Mu Shu Pork and Chicken Corn Soup. The Mongolian BBQ is per standard selection and gives a nice variety for different tastes especially when combined with the Chinese menu! The atmosphere is very simple, nothing fancy but still, the service is efficient and it remains one of our favorite local places to go to! You do have to request the Chinese menu.

I don’t know how this place rated 4stars. I had high expectations and was truly disappointed. There was definitely plenty of food, but I personally didn’t like any of it. The soup they brought to the table was not good, and some bread thing and wontons were greasy. I asked for brown rice with my meal and it tasted like it had been sitting and tried out, crunchy rice? The people who work there were very nice, but I will not be back.

Not bad at all. Really good prices. Lunch $ 7.99 for a one time trip to the Mongolian bar and $ 11.99 for the dinner all you can eat Mongolian bar! It also comes with an egg drop soup, fried wonton and these weird pocket biscuits that remind me of a thicker tortilla consistency with sesame seeds. We’ll definitely come back here when we’re on the mood for Mongolian!

The food here is great. The staff do lack English and they don’t understand what you are saying. They do have lots of veggies if your looking to keep it on the healthy side. One thing I really didn’t like was the staff would pick up the veggies that dropped on the Buffett counter and instead of throwing them away put them back in the respective containers. Yuck. But besides that I love this place!

The price is right and food is good. The service is more on the asian style. Everybody is really friendly. The décor is a little weird, but I don’t mind it. The meat and vegetable area are very sanitary as can be. Some people make a mess, but they try to keep it clean as possible. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a $ 10 all you can eat place that likes a lot of meat.

This is a solid Mongolian BBQ restaurant, where you pile on as much freeze-dried meat and produce as you can, then have a chef fry it up for you. The lunch price is for a single trip; the dinner price is all-you-can-eat. It’s a bland atmosphere, so come with friends. In my experience, I was not offered the soup, wonton, or bread, so I had to ask for it, per the menu. Not a good thing, but I think that’s just how this place is… not so friendly, but you come for the food.

By far the best Mongolian BBQ I have ever had. I drive all the way from San Fernando Valley to come to this place!!! Great prices. Amazing selection of meats, veggies and sauces.

Funny that I’ve never reviewed this place before as we come here at least once every 2 months. It’s our second favorite Mongolian BBQ joint anywhere.(the first being 3 flames in Inglewood). Food’s always Good, fresh, Lots of fixins’ and Veggies to throw in as well as chilies, sesame seeds etc. Great service too. Great beer and shao bing(pocket bread). Not into the egg drop soup, but then I’m not into it anywhere. It’s always busy too, so that’s a good sign you’ll like it too.

This place is awesome. I have been 3x so far, once with family and 2x with friends. It is $ 10.99AYCE for adult dinner. Absolutely worth it even if all you can eat is only«one bowl»… Each person at the table gets one sesame pocket, meat-filled wonton, and egg-drop soup. You can choose a scoop of white or brown rice on your plate of MBBQ. Or nix it all together. They have a pretty big selection of veggies/mix for the Mongolian BBQ. The only thing I think was missing was baby corn, since I love those. It’s ok. The meat is typical frozen, and tastes fine when it’s cooked. The noodles sometimes feel a little weak and scraggly after being cooked, but I think that’s based on brand. Plenty of the standard sauces/seasonings, but I go light on the oils, because I know that half a scoop is PLENTY. I’ve heard they also have a «secret menu» but I haven’t ordered from it yet. This is truly a family run place and it’s awesome. Genuine Chinese, actually. Everyone is extremely friendly, and that is the biggest reason I keep going here, now that I know about it. That is the biggest factor in the rating. I don’t often get consistently nice service, but here I have had no problem. Oh, and I don’t recall about later in the evening, but they do tend to leave a TV on near the bar, with news, etc, to watch if you go in the mid-afternoon early evening. AYCE + soda = $ 14 something after tax.

I’ve been to Mongolian barbecue only once before, and that was in China, so perhaps I’m not a fair comparison. This place is good. A little awkward at first as it looks half like quick service and half like sit down. No one was at the host station so we weren’t sure if we should sit or pay first. Hint: pay at the end. The wontons they put on the table had pork in them which was an unpleasant surprise. The selection of stuff was not as wide as I expected, but good enough. Sauces were blander than I expected from the sign. Kind of confusing. But overall quality is good. And service is good. Atmosphere is fun.

One of the better Mongolian BBQ places around. Good selection of meat and veggies. They have multiple grill so there was little wait. Everyone was really friendly. The dining room is well lit and very spacious, so you don’t feel greasy when you leave like some other places. Good value for $ 9 lunch and $ 11 for AYCE dinner.

This place is good but definitely not«the best» as quoted from other reviews. I personally enjoy Wok N South Mongolian BBQ in Camarillo more than this place. I do agree that the food has good flavor and the complimentary items are pretty standard for Mongolian BBQ restaurants. The ambience can use an upgrade and may help to get more traffic in the doors. Overall it was a good experience but I think that people who think this place is the best should get out more.

Wanted to try something different in Simi today so found a Mongolian BBQ place flipping through the Unilocal pages. Came with Mother(as she was feeling adventitious) to a lunch time meal. I remember the old restaurant that was here. It feels a bit weird like they just completely ripped out the interior, added booths, and very little decore. For less than ten dollars we got a bowl to fill up for Mongolian BBQ, two wontons, egg drop soup, and some sesame bun bread. The eggdrop soup was a really odd gelatinous texture which I did not enjoy. The heart of the meal, did indeed, live in the Mongolian BBQ. They had lamb, chicken, beef, porn, and one more meat which unfortuantly I am forgetting. Piled meet high with noodles and onions before it being cooked right infront of me which was entertaining. While the meat and sauces were good, the noodles were a little lacking. Since a lot of this dish was noodles, it was a wee bit disapointing.
