Super disappointed. I brought my shih tzu in because the regular groomer couldn’t fit me in and its my only day off. I told them I like my dog to be fluffy, I said I wanted the Teddy bear face. She just needed a minor trim about a half inch I said. They suggested I cut her hair shorter but I said no. I even showed them a picture of how she looked the last time she was groomed. I came back hours later to find my dogs hair had been cut incredibly short and her face looked anything but teddy bear like. When i picked her up the groomer said she had to take my dogs hair shorter than i asked because she had knots under her collar. I call bullshit. I changed my dogs collar only a few days ago and I brushed her out. She had no mats and no knots anywhere. All she needed was a wash and a TRIM. If they needed to cut her hair against my specific instructions they could have called me to ask AT LEAST. To make matters worse, she’s been cut unevenly all over and she looks sad. She’s been moping around all day, not acting like herself.

I purchased a coupon book from a fundraiser. There was a coupon for a Ma and Pa Pet Grooming company. The coupon states «BUY 1 GROOMING SERVICE, GET A BATH AND TIDY FREE!» (A $ 25 VALUE). Even though other Unilocal reviews were not the best, I decided to give it a try, I called the number in the booklet and inquired about how much a grooming service would cost with my coupon. The person asked me what breed of dog I have and I said I have a Golden Retriever mix. She said the coupon does not apply to bigger breeds. My dog is a golden retriever mixed with chow, a medium sized dog, which I told her. She said «It would not be fair to expect the groomer to wash a large dog for free». I almost laughed because I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. It’s not fair for a groomer to wash a dog when I am paying for the grooming service? She became annoyed and handed the phone to another person who’s name is Vickie. She repeated the same thing and I asked her why it does not say this on the coupon, or even a disclaimer at the bottom, something to support their ridiculous statement about washing a larger dog for free. She then talked over me repeatedly saying BYE, BYE, BYE, trying to hang up on me. I then told her I was no longer interested and that they have terrible customer service. Around 10 minutes later she called me back asking me to come in and they will honor the coupon. I rightfully declined. I would never take my dog to an unprofessional and rude establishment. Good luck staying in business with that attitude.

I’ve been to this groomer a couple of times and they’ve been doing a great job on both of my dogs.

Horrible!!! We took our yorkie terrier in since I’ve taken my short hair chihuahua before. They left bald spots and uneven strands of hair all over. I would stay away if you have a dog that needs a cut. When I picked her up the groomer had the nerve to tell me she looks that way because she was too hyper. I was in shock if you’re a professional there are no excuses to keep you from doing a good job she should know how to handle a 3 pound dog. I can’t bare to look at my precious Honey since she looks like a kindergarten child took the scissors to her face. Prices are cheap but this is one of those instances where you get what you pay for. Will never take her back here again.

The very first time we took our morkie Roxy at Ma and Paw ‘s today. My husband and I are so happy and very much satisfied on the result. Owners are very friendly and do really care of the pets. We’ve been taking our puppy somewhere else before but after today we will stay and keep their business. Seeing our puppy looking so cute with two hair beret on her, a perfect cut, and best of all she smells so good too. We are definitely coming back. This place is highly recommended and their prices are pretty reasonable too.

We decided to try out this Pet grooming hole in the wall place since their prices were very reasonable, and in this economy sometimes cheap is good. We took our dogie in the first time and I noticed he would of smell much better if I had done the shampoo and perfume myself. Hair seemed uneven and he looked like Jackie O with the hair do they gave him. Off course I asked for what I wanted showed them pictures, but no just like regular hairstylist they yes you to death but do as they well please. So far this has happen 3 times and today was the last time. I spend 5 to 7 minutes explaining to 4 different staff what I wanted even a 15 year old got involved in trying to understand the following: I want his face with a close trim «short» to the face. My God I wonder if these are the same people from the Joke how many to change a light bulb joke. I rush to pick up my dogie paid the fees tip the groomer since I was in a rush I didn’t take the time to notice that not only it was not what I asked for he smell like he had a rain shower, uneven hair cut and had a mustache. I will not be taking him back and if you decide to bring your dog hire a sign language interpreter just in case and bring a maker and a board, be ready to draw a picture as to what you want. Do not bring photos unless is in a poster size, camera shots will not work. Oh leave the drawing and the poster for their reference. Good luck!
