History

Established in 2007.

Christian Udaeta grew up in Simi Valley and has been a part of this community for over 35 years. He has over 18 years of experience in the auto body industry. It has become a passion of his to set the benchmark in ethical business, honesty, and auto body repair. Christian set a goal when he was 25 years old to one day own his shop. In september of 2007 that goal was reached and became a reality. In business for over 5 years, Christian is hands on at the shop, Next Auto Body strives on making all customers 100% satisfied.

Well, that is NOT the review that I wrote!
–Once again this company found a way around the issue at hand. Accepting responsibility for a customer’s bad experience would only help matters. Instead they make every effort to minimize their involvement entirely.
I’m not going to RE-​write my initial review… as it was an extensive report that included each and every detail, after detail, of my dealings with Next Auto Body. I feel that i have ALREADY invested too much of time and energy in this company. Having repeatedly had conversations with management at this place … My concerns were never their priority, and seemed to fall on deaf ears. Their complete and utter disregard ultimately exhausted any further efforts on my part.
I would just like to warn others before making your decision whether or not to use this company: Next Auto Body… they were of NO help, and after several months, they left me with more than just a headache= ($$$OWED)
And trying to delete the evidence of my first review? what integrity!

Wow what a great experience I had with next Autobody in Simi Valley. Someone hit my truck when I was parked, wasn’t a huge amount of damage, but was more than I could handle driving around with. I decided to get a couple of estimates here in Simi Valley, the first one was from 805 Autobody. Price was affordable, but the estimate was just written down on a business card, and I didn’t fee to comfortable, didn’t seem as professional as I kinda expected. I decided to get a second opinion from Next Autobody. Chris was the estimator, he was very informative gave me a detailed written, computer generated, estimate. Went over the job process and guaranteed me completion within two days.
I dropped my vehicle off on Monday 12pm, spoke with the owner Christian, who also guaranteed completion within two days. Guess what two days and complete. It’s very reassuring knowing a timeline is met, that time was invested into the actual estimate, not just a made up number on a business card, and seeing a professional working environment where I believe actual concern for the quality of work and attention to detail was a major part of their working environment.
A must use professional shop.

ZERO STARS! They would get a negative score if that were possible. After my NEW car was damaged and my insurance wrote an estimate, initially I chose this place as the repair company. I heard of them through a family friend. Wow. I regret ever having called this company. They changed the repair estimate several times, toying with me… every time I would call for information I got excuse after excuse. Now I have riding a bicycle to work waiting for this repair to finish, which it never will. Because now they have decided to total it. I am baffled by their incompetence. They wasted months of my time

Just moved here 3 months ago from the southeast & I didn’t know where to take my car. So I chose the place with the highest reviews in the area. Next Auto Body is now the only place I will consider. I have so many good things to say about this place. I took my 2014 Prius C here to get the hood fixed because someone decided using the scrubber side of a sponge to clean gunk off (I’m an idiot) and the whole hood ended up completely scratched. Not only did they make it look good as new, I swear it looks BETTER than when I bought it. My car looks beyond gorgeous and the price was a steal! I swear I don’t think I could have found a better place. They are professional, efficient and do incredibly impressive auto body work. Christian and Chris are both GREAT guys who will take care of you for a completely affordable price. I couldn’t be any happier right now!

I got a great deal on a 2007 Toyota Tundra truck last summer mainly because it had a big dent and scratch in the passenger side door. Chris, Christian and their crew worked their magic, and in about a week my truck was LIKE NEW!!! It’s just gorgeous! Excellent customer service, delivered promises, and completely professional! Yesterday I stopped in with my 2008 Honda Accord that had a pretty big dent in the right front fender. I met with Christian for the first time ever & told him my sitiation & asked him for a price. He first got on the ground & tried to push the dent out. It definitely helped quite a bit. He told me in order to make it look like new it would cost about $ 500 which I felt was a very fair price. He would not take any money for pushing out the dent. He was so nice & I feel a very honest & reputable man. I will definitely be using his company in the future.

I took my Ford Explorer in recently to get it repaired and painted. I also had a cracked headlamp fixed. Christian could not have been nicer and worked with me throughout the process. Very quick turn around time and more than fair pricing.

I was recently rear ended in a low-​speed collision and was in need of a legitimate body shop to restore my car. I won’t take my Miata to just any shop though, I wanted the job done right! This location was in my city and I’m SO GLAD I came here.
The rear bumper was replaced and resprayed along with the quarter panels. The job was done so well it was almost impossible to tell what was resprayed and what wasn’t! To top it off, they washed my car AND detailed it! This place is VERY convenient too, because they close at 6:30.
If I ever need any bodywork done, I’m definitely coming back! A+

I found Next Auto Body by chance. Was in a bad car collision at around 6:30pm. Next Auto Body was the ONLY local body shop STILL WORKING past 5:00pm.
Chris was the one that was still there, and walked me through the next few steps on how to get my badly damaged (and un-​drivable) vehicle back on the road. It was a situation that I’ve never had to deal with. Insurance wanted to write it off as a «Total Loss» and I was a fish out of water in this arena. Both Chris and Christian took ownership of my issue, and walked me through the process STEP BY STEP to ensure that I was taken care of, got my car back, and got it back QUICKLY and INEXPENSIVELY!
I picked up my supposedly «Totalled» vehicle yesterday from Next Auto Body. The workmanship is EXCELLENT, and I really can’t stress how outstanding the customer service was!
This is the benefit of using a privately owned, local small business! You get ownership and management that ACTUALLY CARE about the goals, needs, and expectations of their clientele.
Without a doubt, I will be referring ANY & ALL friends/​family with auto repair needs Chris & Christian @ Next Auto Body!

Yes. They are good. We bring all of our vehicles there both the limousines and our personal cars. Christian is always accommodating and the price is always right… So is the work. I have had everything done from minor door dings to major body repair. Each time our experience has always been the same. PERFECT!

I worked with Chris and I was very happy with their work. Everything turned out fine and my car looks great. It was a vandalism claim, my car got keyed. The estimate they provided to my insurance company USAA was extremely accurate. I also requested some additional work done besides the insured claim and I felt their price was very reasonable. When I saw the finished product I was so glad I chose to go with their shop. These guys are 100% legit. I also like their savvy website. :-)

I called Christian after I had a little mishap with almost taking out my front bumper backing out of a carport, he got my car in the next day and had it done in one short afternoon while I was at work, for a super minimal cost. I was ecstatic that I wasn’t dropping a minimum of $ 500 for another car repair. They even buffed out all of the scuffs and scratches! The service was fast, friendly and couldn’t be beat. He even made sure I had a ride after dropping of my vehicle. I would take all of our vehicles back to him any time!

I took my truck there after i backed into a pole and got an estamite from Christian! He was super friendly and very understanding of all my concerns and wanted to make sure I understood everything completely, he very much wanted to make me happy which is why we chose this auto body shop. They handled everything with my insurance company and even though my insurance company gave us all a difficult time, Chris and Christian kept in constant contact with me to give me updates and to make sure I knew they were doing their very best for me. And after dealing with a huge ordeal with the insurance company they guys at Next went above and beyond to make sure we got our truck back as soon as possible! I definetly will go back to Next in the future and will recommend them to anyone who needs any kind of repairs or even advice! Thanks! Next definetly has they best of everything!

This was for a motorcycle paint job, not a car so we won’t say they are not that good at painting and customer service for cars, but they are not the place to go for motorcycles.
We have body work painted all the time for show bikes, track bikes, personal bikes. Worked with many local painters. We called and got a competitive price in line with all our other painters but they claimed they could have it done two weeks earlier, so we went with them after getting a recommendation from a racer who had his body work painted there. We had them paint all the plastics to a stock bike black.
They were three days late on their deadline, but then when I showed up to pick them up they were still not ready, cleaned or polished. And the guys could not find them till the manager showed up 35 min later. I waited 2 and a half hours and they were not done so I was going to come back. Long story short I waisted 3 days waiting, they had to repaint two pieces, it was late 2 weeks when all was said and done and the quality was still questionable and had stuff that should have been fixed, but our client and our patients were up. They said they would refund us some money but never did. Don’t recommend them at all for motorcycle bodywork and their customer service in general was poor.

When I needed my truck repaired I headed over to the last place I used which did a nice job on my daughters car a few years back. They had moved to a larger shop and in the process lost what I liked most, friendly down to earth customer service.
I remembered the tee’s the servers wear at a local restaurant that have their logo on it so I thought I would check them out.
Chris estimated my truck which was a bit less than the other place and even if it weren’t I would have still gave them my business because I could tell he wanted it and would do their best to get it done well and in good time.
Chris set up my rental truck, worked with my insurance and called me with updates as they came in. I had my truck back spotless with in two weeks like he told me, not five like the others and it looks PERFECT! He even did a little extra work on it and made sure the insurance covered all of it without me having to make any calls taking time from my business.
You guys are awesome hope I don’t need you guys again haha, but I’ll know where to go and send my friends and clients!
