Cheapest oil change around. Good guys.

If I can give this place no stars I would. What a joke! Their website says they are closed today but they are open. I have sent 4 emails to them in a 4 day time to try and set up an appointment with no reply email. To top it off I have call twice today and it goes to voicemail not to mention every other time I called. When I drive by its open so I go in and with 4 hours left in the day I am told they can not do an oil change because they have 2 cars left and it’s slow so they are closing early today. ARE YOU SERIOUS??? I’m trying to give you business and you’re going to turn it down and close early? When I ask about the email reply and the voicemails to schedule an appointment «has their web site says» I am told «the guy who runs that is not here and doesn’t know how to fix it.» Again this place is a joke!

This is my go-​to place for smog checks. Last week, I called ahead to see if he had time to do my mom’s van and he told me to come on in. I was in and out in fifteen minutes. I’m going to start taking the cars here for other things. FYI: Don’t take the guy’s quietness for rudeness… once he starts talking, he’s super nice and helpful.

I can’t find anything wrong with this place. I’ve brought my car’s in at least 6 different times (I have 4 cars, a RV and a motorcycle) and today was the third time I brought the RV in. Being a Saturday I got there about 9:10 and he told me it would be about 1−½ and that I should just come back around 10:30. I took the RV back home and brought it back and he was ready as he said. 20 minutes later and $ 38.20 later I was on my way. That included the Smog Certificate that was filed on-​line. I was shocked on the speed AND the price. The guys is pretty much a one shop owner and as no– nonsense as all get out. He still has his «Back to the Future» running on the TV which just cracks me up as it’s the same thing I’ve seen playing the last four times visiting there. But I digress. My wife had given me a coupon but I didn’t even have to show it to get that price. I’m feeling perhaps I got the repeat business discount but he never said a thing. If you can find that kind of speed and price seek it out but in Simi it’s not happening. I’m a FAN!

I went to three other local mechanics, all told me the repairs needed to shut off my check engine light would be between $ 1200.00 and $ 1800.00, I brought my car here, he told me he would reset the check engine light and I would need to drive it for awhile to see if comes back on, two days later and 60miles on the car it passed smog, this guy is honest and very reasonable, I found my families new shop for repairs.

Got a smog check here. Privately owned and the looks like the owner does most of the work himself. Was honest and fair, but again, I only got a smog check. Was in and out in about 20 – 30 mins.

This is the best place in Simi for car service. The owner does all the work himself for a reasonable price.
