Rock N Roll Cafe

Admittedly a little sceptical of any themed restaurant, the Rock N Roll Café passed the test! Friendly & engaging employees make you feel welcome and comfortable– and yes, the food is pretty good too! The very best I’ve ever had? Probably not, but certainly good enough to want to come back again. I didn’t really get much of a rock & roll vibe (albeit some 60’s music and a few period posters), but hey– it’s clean, pleasant and a good value — check it out!

I was really craving something different than what i typically eat. Usually i just go for the usual el torito or something else close by but my wife and i were craving something different. i looked up on Unilocal for something different to eat that night. my wife was craving hamburgers and i was craving a good sandwich.
To be honest i had no idea where this place was located. It is in the corner of a shopping center and not visible unless you are right in front of it. My wife and i walked in and checked out the menu and the prices were pretty interesting. The burger doesnt come with fries you have to pay extra which is pretty stupid. It just makes everything more expensive. To be honest i would rather get a burger at inn and out. The tri tip sandwich was pretty good and the bbq sauce is great. To come back here. maybe it wasnt memorable and it was dead in there when i went. The cook was also the cashier which was weird and i wonder if it ever gets busy.

Good burgers just not better than the other burger places in Simi Valley.

Great place for the family. This place is located at the end of the shopping center. When you first walk in your greeted with a simple menu which is good. We tried the Wild West burger and it tasted fresh and juicy. They have good options for the kids. The staff is great and friendly. Over all I think this place is great and will be coming back for sure.

Great service, clean restaurant and old style café type food. The fries were exceptionally good being thick crinkle cut style.

With straight forward pricing, delicious food, awesome employees, and great tunes, it definitely is one of the places to try here in Simi.
I’ve never been disappointed with the food here. It’s always great, always delicious, and always filling.
Their crew is awesome ! Never failing to welcome me and my buddy in whenever we stop by for lunch. And always checking to make sure we got everything we needed once seated.
Overall, it’s a spot to definitely come back to. So check it out !

This is my new favorite burger joint! The food is delicious and the owners are fantastic people.

Great little spot that reminds me of Johnnie Rockets. The food is great and the décor is just like the old school classics of the time. The burger choices are phenomenal as you will not be dissatisfied as their items will satisfy your hunger need. The portion size is generous and your taste buds will be content. Their shakes are a great way to wash down their delights as the Oreo shake will as well as their other choices will keep you happy.
Parking is on their lot and is usually a non issue.
Service is great as it is done with a smile and great professionalism.

I’m officially jazzed with Rock n Roll Café friends, they really try to make each guest feel welcome. My favorite is still the burgers and onion rings, but everything I and my friends have tried has been quite good. If you are brave turn their Rock Star cheeseburger into a double and have at some serious old time burger love! American comfort food like it used to be!
The drink refills are still self serve and free, and everything is clean and the employees all seem like a big happy family. Eating in the small outdoor seating area is also nice as long as its not one of Simi’s windier days; evenings outside are nice this time of year.
Considering the price to eat real food at Rock n Roll Café is within pennies of the arches joint across the street, I can’t understand why this place is not standing room only. If you have not given these good folks a try, you are missing a hidden gem here in Simi Valley.

I FOUND IT! Just moved to the area, took me a few tries but… I FOUND IT!
A REAL burger spot. I love burgers and dogs and all that great guilty pleasure food we all crave from time to time.
This is it!
Today was my first visit and will not be my last. I walked to the door and the owner Victor welcomed me in with a «how are you today?» Felt welcome right away.
I love menus that are not complicated and I ordered the Rock n Roll burger, Onion Rings and a Beer.
The burger was fantastic, juicy, hot and flavorful. The lettuce and tomato were crisp, cold and fresh. The grilled onions were fantastic and the bun was fresh, toasted and fluffy! Just a great combo of everything you look for in a true All American Hamburger! Wrapped in a red and white checkered paper like something out of American Graffiti. The onion rings were amazing, crispy, hot, good flavor and tasted very fresh and ripe. The beer was Ice Cold and the perfect compliment to the end of every bite!
The diner was clean, the service was exemplary and the look was awesome with old pics of Cars and Elvis. The music playing in the background was 50’s and 60’s and not too loud and overbearing. Just a great little sit down Burger place. They also have a lot more which I will soon be trying! Especially the Hot Dog.
To top it off… the owner Victor, came up to my table and asked how everything was and here is the GEM… he said «it would be a pleasure cooking for you»!
Well Victor you’ll get that chance but I am the one who will benefit the Most! So see you every Friday!

I go into Rock & Roll all the time with my family to grab a bite to eat. Its my go to burger spot in Simi Valley. My daughter Brooklyn loves the place. The owners lover her as well. They always call her by name when we walk in the door. Just some great home town food service that you just don’t get to see anymore.
The food is cooked to perfection and the price is right for a family of 4 to go and not break the bank. If you haven’t had a chance to try Rock & Roll Café then you are missing out on the best burgers in town.

Best burger I have ever eaten no doubt about it. I come here at LEAST once a week to enjoy the best burger in Simi Valley. I would recommend the Wild West burger for sure it is on point, but victor is the man and a great cook so anything you order is going to be fantastic. If you haven’t been there than you are missing out! Get in there and victor will hook you up!

Rock town. Probably the best burger joint in Simi Valley… I had this place for the first time about 6 months ago and I cannot get enough of it. They make their burgers to perfection… Never disappointed. If you wanna get a good barbecue burger, I suggest getting the Wild West burger at Rock n roll! You will not regret it. Everything about this place makes me want to come back! Even the music, I love the 50 – 60’s jams!

We have only been once, and it was during the lunch rush, but our to-​go order was not very fresh. I could be wrong, but it seemed as if the burger had been pre-​prepared and then heated up on the grill upon order. Hopefully I am wrong about that. Onion rings were good.

Good food, super friendly service, fair prices… a nice alternative to the standard chains.
We found this gem on the way home from going to the Rose Parade. Tired and hungry, our family was looking for something quick and warm. We took a chance on Rock n Roll Café and we came out ahead. We tried the signature burger, the Wild West burger, the BLT, and the kids chicken tenders, as well as onion rings and fries. Everything was prepared well and tasty. The onion rings were especially good. For the price, we got a great meal. We’ll be back!

This burger place is a nice alternative to your typical fast food chain. The food is still quickly prepared but with more care and better tasting product. The staff is friendly and will remember you and great you warmly. The place is very clean and has limited outdoor seating which is nice when the wind is calm. The onion rings dipped in ranch dressing are heaven. I know my husband and I will continue to come here to get our burger cravings satisfied.

My favorite hamburger spot in Simi, they deliver consistent food a tier above your typical fast food fare. Their locally owned and the owners work in the store and provide excellent customer service. I’m currently the number two regular and I’ve never been greeted with less than a big, genuine smile.
The food is prepared to order so is always hot. You can get in and out during a lunch break as long as you work on this end of town. The burgers are larger than average though not as thick as a top tier hamburger available at a few spots in LA. Prices are very affordable as my double bacon combo was under $ 10.
The restaurant is small but typically not crowded. It’s kept clean both in the kitchen and dinning room. There is also outside seating for nice days and plenty of parking out front.
In summary, it’s a solid, tasty mom n pop local burger joint with great customer service. What’s not to like?

This place is delish! I got the turkey burger wrapped in lettuce with sweet potato fries,
it was fantastic! Excellent service, with a smile!

It’s not very often I give restaurants a 5 out of 5, but this one definitely deserves it. My wife and I visited for the first time. She ordered a cheeseburger and I ordered the veggie burger. Both were delicious. Not very many burgers come even close to the freshness and amazing taste of In N Out, but this one is pretty close and it is a Mom and Pop owned.
