Simi Valley Seventh-Day Adventist School

Last summer I discovered the K-​8 Simi Valley Adventist School (
) where small class sizes and individualized attention greatly enriched my daughters’ education experience. My 3^rd grader (one of 6 students in her grade level) has blossomed beyond expectations. She enjoys reading and is still participating in A.R. (Accelerated Reader) program introduced in public school. An on-​line math program allows each student to work at their own pace and receive individualized instruction based on needs. Multi-​grade classrooms provide a broader spectrum of learning, especially in the sciences; the whole classroom does the lesson, not just the grade level. The younger children are learning directly from the experience of the older students.
Regular field trips to JPL, Reagan Library, Aquariums, and Museums bring the learning experience full circle. A longer day in the classroom (dismissal at 3:15) means significantly less homework more focused on reading and projects for Science and Social Science Fairs. They also offer after school care and summer programs.

Great gym where my son plays i9 Sports. Nice parking lot between the church and gym.
