Meet the Business Owner

Ray C.

Business Owner

A native of South Korea, Ray Cho learned to cook professionally in the highly competitive South Korean restaurant industry, specializing in Japanese Cuisine and Shabu Shabu. There he learned how to pick out the choicest Shabu Shabu beef and freshest vegetables and create the finest broth, amongst many other dishes like a multitude of sushi rolls, udon, ramen, etc. After visiting the beautiful Ventura County on a trip to SoCal one year, Ray realized there was a lack of Japanese cuisine particularly shabby shabby. Wanting to bring a fresh and authentic taste, he decided to open up his own restaurant and is eager to bring Shabu to everyone!
