I have been a member here since they first opened in 2000. The facility is clean and the people that work here are always friendly and helpful. The gym is never too crowded like some of the other places. I’ve been to other gyms in Simi, but this place is more family friendly and comfortable, which is to my liking.

The Child care is great! My child always has a good time! I especially want to thank Tracy. She has been on top of helping me & making sure that we are taken care of. Very professional & very nice! She’s amazing!!! Don’t ever let her go!!!

I would of just given no stars but there is no such an options. The front desk staff there is ridiculously incompetent, unprofessional and «outdated». Most of the time they are not computer competent, it is always a computer fault that something does not load, or do not go through. I am pretty sure, computers at ymca are working just fine, it is the staff who does not know how to operate it. Come on, hire someone students who are smart, quick and know how to work on the computers. If you need to register for classes or cancel something do it online if it is possible-​it is faster and a not stressful, save yourself time and your nerve cells.

The staff is always friendly and ready to help. Everyone that walks in the door they always greet no matter what! Very professional and clean facility. Memberships aren’t expensive at all, and they include a lot! I would recommend to anyone that would like a family oriented atmosphere around them to join this YMCA!

Came here for a swim meet, the set up is poor. The barely have enough room for the swimmers family, they took the majority of poolside room for snacks. All about the profit, disappointing!

The child care is AMAZING! My kids have never loved going to a childcare before. The people are great and its always the same few people there.
The swim lessons for the kids is also great. My son has autism and they work very well with special needs children.
The gym has everything you need as far as equipment. Its never overly crowded and people are nice. Spin Class is amazing if you really want to sweat! All the rest of the classes are just so-​so if you are in good shape. They seem to be a little more low key for people trying to get in shape or older people.
But I cannot say enough about this place. Love it.

I am giving it an ok review based on this.
The child care is amazing. Those people will take great care of your kids. The soccer, basketball and gymnastics programs are top-​notch.
The ballet program is horrible. Those teachers are very mean and make the kids cry. They do not know how to teach 3 – 4 year olds. The ballet is included with membership, but please do not do do that to your child. They are nice to the few they like, but treat the others just terrible.
Join for everything else, but not the ballet.
