Do not waste your money on the pathetic excuse for popcorn they sell. It’s not warm. It’s not fresh. It’s got no flavor. And adding their flavorless imitation butter adds nothing. How hard is it to serve real popcorn?

Always a good selection of the latest and greatest films. Friendly staff, no lines, not too expensive. Showtimes seem to be the crux though. If you’re going on a weeknight, you either have to go early, or really late. There’s not a lot of 8−9pm showtimes from what I’ve seen lately.

This theatre is horrible. The acoustics are not good, the snack bar was dirty. And if you buy tickets online, don’t expect to fly by everyone in line. Because they don’t have a working kiosk to print your tickets, you will have to wait in line at the ticket counter, or even worse the snack bar. Amazing that in this day and age a movie theatre can’t handle online purchases.

Nice movie theater — very clean and safe. A lot of good movies are shown there and whenever we go they are always busy. The concession stand can get pricey depending on what you get but that is how they make money. The seats are very comfortable even through longer movies.
For it being Simsbury I would have thought they’d update the place. The movie looks old and dirty. Nevertheless I like the movie theater’s sound, screens and chairs. It’s okay, even though I believe it is one or two dollars more than other theaters.

Smaller local theatre but with nice DLP4K presentations. We went here on Christmas Eve to catch American Hustle. It was really crowded and the theatre isn’t easy to navigate. We were in cinema 5 which was one of their larger options but would be small at a big Loews or Showcase. There was just one entrance and steps on only one side of the aisle that led to an exit. The seats were old but comfortable. The sight lines were okay but a newer theatre would probably raise each row a couple more inches for a greater stadium effect. The screen and audio were good. One issue however was that the curtain on the side of the screen does not pull back far enough and casts a shadow on the edges.

Always a pleasant place to see a movie. Case in point, we saw ‘42’ here today. Sales staff was friendly and courteous, theater was clean, sound and vision were great for the movie, seats were comfy and they have a cup holder for your beverage. Speaking of beverages, of course the food and drinks are expensive. A bottle of water was $ 3.75, but complaining about the price of food at a movie theater is like complaining about the cost of a beer and a hot dog at a Yankee game. All in all, it’s a very nice environment to see a movie. And if those candy prices spook ya, better visit CVS beforehand and wear your cargo pants to the show…
