Prices seem high for the mediocre experience. Used to look cool but now it seems slightly dated. The food itself is satisfactory but nothing special. I would suggest PizzaRev instead if you want a better pizza and atmosphere for the price.

This restaurant had a quick and easy vibe, the service was great, the food was sub par. I got the Chicken Broccoli Cavatelli and was less than pleased. The chicken tasted like it was straight from the can and the sauce had no flavor, not quite the Italian vibe I was craving.

Red Rossa is definitely a place that you should try. I like that it is a good combination of fast and quality. I have had their traditional spaghetti and their pizza. Both were very good. Sometimes it gets crowded but it is located in a busier place in Sioux Falls so there isn’t much you can do about it. I like the option to purchase alcohol as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. It’s a neat little place and a great change of pace for those Italian food lovers.

Not sure if this is a franchise business or not. Regardless the wood fired pizza was fabulous and reasonable. They serve both beer and wine which is a staple for good pizza. Service was great and the atmosphere was clean and inviting. We were not from the area the restaurant is at, but if we ever to drive by one again we will stop.

Redrossa is in our«regular restaurant rotation» and we either dine-in or carry-out almost once a week. I really enjoy the ambiance– the fact that it’s fast casual but still a great place to sit and relax with friends without breaking the bank. The staff is consistently pleasant and professional and they seem to truly enjoy their jobs. The food? I absolutely love all of their salads, my favorite being either the Almond Chicken(the honey balsamic dressing is delicious) or the Chicken, Spinach & Prosciutto. A tip: order your salad«A Libretto» and your salad will come folded on a pizza crust, like a sandwich. Another tip: an A Libretto salad is delicious but HUGE because it’s a full crust– you can easily split one with someone(this is often a meal for both me and my husband). The best part is when the crust soaks in the dressing from your salad. Yum. Their Mac & Cheese is also great, and I’d highly recommend the Sausage & Pepper pizza.

It may not be authentic Neapolitan pizza but still very tasty. The grilled chicken topping was very tasty. Highly recommended!

The couple of times that I’ve eaten here, I’ve really enjoyed the pizza. It’s freshly made, and I like the charred and blistered pizza dough. The pizza crust is thin without overdoing the toppings. What I didn’t care for was the state of uncleanliness in the dining room during one of our visits. It seemed liked the restaurant was busy and no one had gotten around to cleaning off the tables/floors in the midst of the day. If you’re looking for an Italian style pizza, you’ll like Redrossa. Give it a try.

Staff was pleasant and very nice. We ordered a pizza and pasta. Both were subpar. i thought the pasta tasted like kids spaghettio sauce. Terrible.

We have been eating here a year and have always been pleased. It doesn’t take long to get your pizza and the staff is always friendly, and the place is clean. Love the hand tossed crust and wood fired pizza. My favorite is the wild mushroom pizza which when I omit the cheese is vegan. Haven’t been in since they remodeled recently. Looking forward to seeing what they have changed.

Redrossa offers a variety of pizzas, pastas, and salads and gelato for dessert. The pizzas are all essentially personal sized, which is about the size of a large dinner plate, so it is necessary to bring an appetite. The regular size salad is also about the size of large dinner plate. The pizzas have excellent house options and build-your-own flavor on top of Margherita style pizzas. The Gabagool, for example is a wonderful, slightly spicy pizza made with capicola, peppers, green olives, and pepper flakes. The crust has a light tasty flavor with the nice wood oven flavor.(If the crust had not been slightly soggy toward the end, it would have been five stars – perhaps this has, as others have mentioned, something to do with temperature and cooking time.) There is no wait staff – like many newer chains, such as Noodles or Chipotle – one orders at the counter and the staff brings it to the table. The food came in good time. The staff was friendly, helpful, and obviously well trained. This restaurant seems family friendly.

I’ve experienced the amazingness of Naples’ pizza and I have to say this is the closest thing I’ve experienced! YUMMO!

Red Red is also Good Good! We like pizza, but must admit that the national chains are pretty much the same, that is boring. Redrossa breaks that mode with it fantastic wood fired pizza ovens turning out exciting tasty treats. They also make great salads the way fine restaurants do. We did not expect a walk up and order before you take your seat place to be as good as Redrossa. They have mastered quick turnarounds without making you feel rushed! This is going to be our favorite pizza place for the foreseeable future. Now the naming of this restaurant would be an interesting story, as rossa means red in Italian. This means the name translates into red red. Go figured and just enjoy a new better version of an old treat.

4 star pizza. They advertise that their pizza is perfectly charred and blistered, but I think it needed a little more charring and a little more blistering, so they aren’t quite up to 5 star. The thermometer on the wood fired oven was reading 520, which seems quite low. Perhaps that contributed? The service is good. You order at the register and take your number to your seat and a couple minutes later your food is delivered. We contacted them with questions a couple times via email before going and received quick and detailed responses. We tried their marinara pizza(crust, sauce, a little garlic, and a little oregano — no cheese), which although it is not listed on the menu, appears as a standard option on their computer ordering system — which rung it up as a tiny $ 5(compare to $ 6.25 for a margarita pizza). We also had a sundried tomato, kalamata, and arugula pizza(no cheese). Both were good. They also have a wide selection of salads and pastas, and although not on their menu, a gluten-free pizza crust option — I didn’t try it personally, but was told it was better than most. There is also a wide selection of bottled beer and some wine. For dessert, they have about 6 gelatos and 6 sorbettos, although we needed a manager to come out and tell us which were which as they weren’t labelled. Prices are low, portions are big.

Awesome food and definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Sioux Falls! I come here every time I’m in town and usually more than once. For about $ 8 – 9 you can get a great pizza that is the perfect size for one person to get complete stuffed in my opinion which is a pretty good deal. The quality of ingredients is great and the salads are really great as well. You can get just a pizza, do a half pizza half salad combo, or you could get a salad and turn it into a sandwich with some unique bread which is delicious. If you want to try an awesome pizza that they don’t have on this menu try one with Italian sausage, feta cheese and sundried tomato… it’s seriously my favorite food. The one complaint I have heard about this place is that they don’t cook the pizza well enough so the middle is soggy and soupy. Well I’ve been eating here since the beginning and I can tell you that this was once true, but they have now truly perfected their pizzas and I have not had a soupy pizza in years! Go try this place! You won’t be disappointed.

Good pizza here, much better than your average fast-food pizza place. The first time I was here my companions and I each got our own(smallish) pizzas. I believe I had the sausage and pepper one and it was really good: fresh, simple and elegant. The second time through the experience wasn’t quite as good. I tried the ‘lunch special’ where you get half a pizza and a side salad for $ 6.25 or something. I chose to upgrade the pizza from a 1-topping affair to their signature Wild Mushroom one and add a soft drink. Of course this bumped the lunch special to over $ 10. Should’ve gotten a water cup, I suppose. Anyway, the pizza was good, cheesy and the mushrooms were plentiful enough and tasted good. I like their wood-fired crust and you can see little ‘scorch’ marks underneath and the pizza gives off an aromatic attraction. There was just something about it that was lacking overall though. I really can’t put my finger on it. It was good but just didn’t have finesse or impressive vibe of the first time. It didn’t help that the Caesar salad was just OK and that the place suddenly became absolutely packed with people, including a lot of kids. As I made my way out of the place, it felt a little like Chuck E. Cheese. Good fast-food pizza here though. Compared to other chains this place is creative and they use good ingredients. I think after a couple visits though, you’ll see that Redrossa is fast food even though they do things in a more upscale way.

Been visiting Sioux Falls for many years now, and frankly am a bit ticked that no one has led me here before now! All four of us ordered different pizzas. Two of us had wine. Wine was a good price, but too hot… should be kept a bit colder, however didn’t stop me from drinking it. :)(okay, nothing does). Pizzas came out at different times, and one was completely wrong, but the attitude was so RIGHT. They cared that it was not right, and fixed it immediately. Quality ingredients, and very delicious! If you’re in Sioux Falls and craving pizza, this is sooooo where you need to go!

In my mind there are two different kinds of pizza worth eating, old school American pizza(New York and Chicago styles being a subset of this) and Neapolitan style. Redrossa pays sufficient homage to Naples while at the end of the day still being American enough to appeal to a wide audience. As for the pizza baked in a wood fire oven giving the crust the flavor and texture one would expect. The dough is clearly made from scratch and has the right amount of yeasty flavor and chewiness for proper pizza crust. Toppings are not globed on in the American style but some of the menu selections get a little heavy handed if you’re a Neapolitan style purist. If you can’t find a menu combination you like you can always make your own. I usually get the Gabagol with anchovies, which are sadly $ 2 extra. My only gripe is they place the anchovies on in whole filets rather than coarsely chopping them and spreading them around the pizza. This is only a minor pet peeve. My bigger pet peeve is over why more people don’t like anchovies! I always like to finish my pizza with a bit of salad so my family usually shares a Mediterranean salad. My experience has always been fresh crisp greens and a well composed salad. Their menu also has pasta which is decent but certainly not my first choice on the menu.

Redrossa pizza is a great fire roasted napoli style pizza. The quality compares favorably with punch pizza in Mpls. There are many different pizzas to choose from. The toppings and sauce are both excellent. The crust could be better if it was more crispy.
