Our Firm has the largest professional Radon staff in the state. We have two Radon Measurement Specialists on our full time staff. Both have undergraduate and graduate degrees. One is additionally certified by the National Radon Safety Board, the other has a Ph. D in nuclear physics. Radiation Data’s Radon mitigation specialists are certified by the NJDEP, PADEP, and the National Radon Safety Board. Radiation Data has decades of experience in designing and supervising the installation of Radon Systems. Our radon remediation system was installed a year ago by the previous owners of our home — a condition of the sale when the home inspection we had done showed slightly elevated radon levels. It worked flawlessly up until just a couple weeks ago when the fan in the attic suddenly became very noisy. We called Radiation Data, the company who installed the system, and arranged for someone to come out and look at it. Of course, as luck would have it, we were a couple days past the one-​year anniversary of the install, the period in which a service call would be free of charge. We were very impressed and appreciative when the owner of the company said it would be no problem — there would be no charge for the service call or the new fan. The technician was prompt, courteous, and professional, and the newly-​installed fan is completely silent. We would recommend Radiation Data to anyone looking to resolve a radon issue — they stand behind their work and their product.

I had radon remediation this September from Radiation Data in Skillman, NJ. 609−466−4300. They were great, Tara nicely took care of the Township permits and I passed all inspections afterward (Twp inspectors came out this week). The system is very quiet– I would not even know it was working if I didn’t go outside to listen. We discussed placement of the unit both in the basement and the exit unit outside and he explained everything to my satisfaction. The home previously had a high Radon level: 13 PCi/​L it’s now 1.2 pC/​Li! The installer, David, was very polite, on-​time and professional and cleaned up after himself. I recommend them.

Looked like they were doing an adequate job until we handed over the check before the job was complete– mainly as a result of the intimidating behavior of the guy doing the install. His manager was screaming at him over the phone to make sure he got the check. Took many, many phone calls to get them to complete the promised work. Would not recommend. Pretty rude folks though Misty proved helpful in the end.

It was a pleasure working with Radiation Data. We recently had an elevated radon level in our Kendall Park, NJ home. We wanted to make sure that we remediated with a qualified company, and Radiation Data far exceeded our expectations.
In particular, we worked with Misti, who was very knowlegeable in answering our many questions about radon and how to handle this. She assured us that this would be handled well. She completely put our mind at ease.
The technicians, Joe, and Matt, were outstanding as well. They were on-​time, polite, and professional. They worked neatly and efficiently, and were careful to protect our floors by utilizing a drop cloth. They did an excellent job and the system is running efficiently.
