History

Established in 2006.

Opened in January 2006 and quickly outgrew their little cottage. The shop then moved into half of a carriage house in October 2006 and in July of the following year expanded again, taking over the full space. Bursting at the seams with bodacious blooms– it is a magical place to visit.

Business Owner

Jill Lewko is the owner of An Enchanted Florist at Skippick Village and proud spouse of a 30 yr Navy Veteran, as well as Mom to two fabulous kids and 2 wonderful Grandbabies. Jill has a background in Art Therapy, and honed her skills as a floral designer as she traveled the country to new duty stations every 2 years. This is the second shop she has owned, the first when they were stationed near Cape Cod and had the opportunity to buy Mashpee Commons Florist. When her husband retired she opened An Enchanted Florist at Skippack Village-​with hopes of putting down roots and becoming a part of the great Village of Skippack– Five years and 2 expansions later– the little shop is becoming quite a busy place. With weddings every weekend and a growing legion of fans– Jill is very happily «rooted» in her new hometown. With a multi talented design staff, the shop endeavors to WOW recipients with fresh, beautiful flowers every day!

I have used this florist for several years now for prom flowers as think it is very important to support the small business owners of our community. For the most part the wrist corsages and bouquets I have ordered for formals and proms have been «adequate»…never really overwhelmed with the purchase and many times disappointed. I decided to try it one last time for my son’s high school formal last night. I went into the store earlier in the week to describe exactly what I wanted. I ordered a wrist corsage with small red roses, some pink accents, greens and a black ribbon. When I picked up the flowers I had a bad feeling, as I always seem to, when I walked in… just a fear of disappointment again. The corsage was tiny, mostly made up of the black ribbon, UNOPENED tiny red roses that you really had to look for to see, and very little greens. The diameter of the entire thing couldn’t have been more than 4″ or so. The boutonnière that I also ordered was just as disappointing. The cost…$ 59.00!!! Other boys came to the pre-​dance party at our home with beautiful corsages and bouquets… after speaking to their moms, not one was over $ 35!
My girlfriend also ordered hers from there too. As I was driving home I got a text from her… very, very upset about her corsage as well… she was on her way to pick up a bouquet of flowers for her son’s date because she was so embarrassed!
Needless to say, I will not be using this florist again. I feel like I gave them more than enough chances to satisfy a loyal, returning customer.

If you are the type of bride who wants to pick out the specific flowers and exact colors for your wedding arrangements then this is NOT the florist for you. However if you are OK with putting complete trust and control with the florist then these ladies do a nice job.
I did not consider myself a high maintenance bride at all– but after having a very nice consultation with Hannah and being sold on using them for my wedding, it was very hard to connect to the owner about the details of my flowers. Every time I called they were too busy to speak to me and made me feel like I was annoying them. As my wedding was approaching, I asked if I could see a sample of what they would be creating for me. I was told I could buy a sample but could not see one otherwise. So I drove 2 hours from NYC to Skippack to pay for and pick up my sample arrangement which was pretty but not all of the colors I had asked for. I gave them some detailed notes and pictures on what I wanted changed and what flowers I wanted to add which they agreed to do.
On my wedding day when I saw the final product– they had not taken any of my notes or additions. The flowers were pretty — –and they did a beautiful job on my chuppah and bouquets. It all came together and looked lovely– so I have to credit them with that! They just didnt do what I asked for. I just wish I’d known that going into it so it wouldn’t have been a surprise!

I walked in 5 minutes before closing and the ladies were able to make me a very beautiful flower arrangement. They asked me my budget and if I had preference for certain colors or types of flowers. With that information, they quickly put together a lovely and unique arrangement of seasonal summer flowers. The arrangement was a big hit at the dinner party we were attending. Nice little shop with the best service. I will use this florist anytime I need flowers.

I am always delighted by the service and arrangements at Enchanted. They are so stylish and personable! I never hesitate to order flowers by phone because they send original, sophisticated designs that thrill the recipient. However i try to stop in when I can because it is such a pleasure to see the shop filled with gorgeous flowers particularly when they’re getting ready for a wedding.

Absolutely wonderful florist in downtown Skippack. Whether it is a special occasion or just a bunch to start of the weekend— they put together beautiful arrangements to fit your budget. Staff is so knowledgable, professional and a pleasure to deal with. Jill the owner can even recommend local watering holes and bartenders!

Not sure what happened to the reviewer above but his experience is certainly an anomaly. If you need flowers for any occasion, this is the place. Beautiful arrangements, center pieces, and bouquets. The customer service has been amazing every time I’ve gone in the shop. Will definitely return.

I have been going here for years and have never been disappointed. The staff is great and always willing to help me put together a great arrangement for any occasion. The flower selection is amazing, they even have some flowers I never knew existed.
I will continue to go here anytime I need flowers.

They either forgot or lost our paper work for some flower arrangements. I called the morning of to pick up the flowers and they were completely confused. Luckily, they has enough flowers to quickly put something together. Still paid full price. Was not impressed by the arrangements.
