Established in 2012.

iPhone Repair of Skippack (Mack Tech & Repair) — was originally started at Penn State University by students to provide affordable iPhone repair to the local community. The business was officially established in Norristown, PA and has since moved yet again to our permanent location in Skippack.

My daughter had an issue with her iPhone. I went to an Apple store and was told that she needed a new phone. She still had 15 months on her contract. I took the phone to Mack Tech, and they fixed the phone at no charge in 3 minutes. Turns out the phone just needed a hard reset. I never even knew there was a hard reset… but why didn’t Apple tell me this?

Fantastic repair shop. I needed my MacBook Pro repaired after a liquid spill on the keyboard. Once the new keyboard arrived, Mack Tech turned around the repair in only an hour or so. The repair work was flawless and came with a warranty — proof that they stand by their work. Great customer service, flawless repair work, rapid turnaround time — what more can you ask for from any repair service? I will be using them for all my future Apple repair work.

Just a heads up, Matt and his team no longer work out of their house. They currently have a new store location at the address above (1289 Bridge Rd).
Now onto the review…
Great guys! Stand by their work! They have I believe 60 day or 90 day warranty on their repairs. I heard about MackTech from a guy I met in Best Buy who had several of apple products repaired through these guys. Then later actually met Matt while I was in line on launch day for the 5S. My daughter got peanut butter into the 30pin connector and speaker/​mic part of the iphone and we could not hear anything on the other end of the call, so he told me bring it by to get it checked out.
The first time we all had thought it was just peanut butter stuck and thought maybe a thorough cleaning would work. However, it didn’t and so we brought it back a second time, and originally had expected to leave it there over the weekend. But, Rob and Mike stayed over an hour late past their closing time just to get to the root of the problem.
These guys are fast and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Thanks MackTech for fixing my wife’s phone!

Mack Tech is awesome. I had to replace my ssd in my macbook air. bought my ssd in amazon and the tools that they gave were not perfect fit to replace. I called Mack Tech and they were able to fix my macbook in around 15 mins. They were also very courteous and the price they quoted was also reasonable. I would recommend this place to any one who wants to fix their apple products…

Mack Tech is awesome!!! I spilled an entire glass of red wine on my MacBook Pro-​it was completely dead-wouldn’t even power on. I am typing this review on the same laptop! They repaired and cleaned it and it is as good as new. Bonus-​it was only a fraction of the price Apple quoted me for the same repair. I recommend them to everyone I know.

Mack Tech did a great job fixing my iphone. In April 2012 I dropped my phone and cracked the screen. I stopped in and it was fixed within 30 min. He has since moved to Skippack into a small office inside a printers office at the corner of Route 113 and 73. I had to visit Mack Tech again because I dropped my iphone the day before I was planning on trading it in. Again it was fixed quickly and Matt also helped me to take off of my information (contacts, pictures, etc). I was also able to sell both my 3G and 4 to Mack Tech. The transaction was smooth and effortless. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a fix for any of their Apple products.

I have to say I was skeptical at first b/​c he runs his business out of his house, and I was not expecting to show up in his living room. With that said, he had a number of customers there when I arrived, and had his credentials hanging. He gave my options, very very very fair prices, and took the time to fix my iPad. Would go back! Absolutely recommend for any apple screen fixes too!
