We offer scheduled ceramics art classes for kids and adults, ranging from mom and tot to seniors to specials needs adults. Most of our classes focus on clay, both handbuilding and wheelthrowing on the pottery wheels, but we also have fused glass classes as well upon request. We also host birthday parties on Saturdays and Sundays (by request)! Have your birthday party or private event here this weekend! Please be sure to check our calendar, as all of our classes, special events and open studio times are scheduled. All of our classes, are pay as you go, so you may come to one session, or many… your choice! Any times listed as Open Studio, you may just «pop» in. History

Established in 2011.

With backgrounds in art, literature, rhetoric, and education, Andrea and Dan naturally hold self-expression in the highest regard. In fact, the name Bughouse Studio finds its roots in Chicago and First Amendment history. Bughouse Square – the nickname given to Washington Square Park on the near north side of Chicago – has been home to orators, preachers, poets, and politicians since the 1890s. Through their shared vision of Bughouse Studio, Andrea and Dan hope artists find meaning to «freedom of art» just as Bughouse Square served as a similar venue for numerous Chicagoans.
