House of rental was great! We had a mixup with the order, but they were quick and diligent to fix the issue — even on an off day!

Once again amazing customer service! These guys are great! I used them for table linen (in lilac) and it fit the tables wonderfully! Speedy service, kind, clean, professional, no hassle, no fuss and so much more! I can’t say enough good things about this place… it’s my 3^rd time using them and I’m sure that number will increase as I am involved in more events. Great Service!

I only ordered 4 high boy tables w/​linens for a get-​together @ my condo, but I seriously called like 4 different times to ask questions about them… and every time, the guy on the other end was so incredibly pleasant and very patiently answered my questions. I picked up my stuff on Friday (they load it into your trunk) and returned it Monday morning, with of course the same wonderful attitude from the employees. The linens were very high quality and the tables sturdy without side-​to-​side swaying. I would highly recommend House of Rental for the quality of their equipment, as well as the great customer service

House of Rental has helped me out with two parties I hosted in my home. They do provide prompt, professional service. Their rates are fantastic and they have just about anything available to rent. After my first party, I’d give five stars, but the delivery experience I had was less-​than-​stellar and had I not paid extra for a delivery I wouldn’t be writing this review.
I needed House of Rental to arrive in the early morning to pick up our order. In email confirmation I have a 9am arrival time, which would have been perfect. By 9:15, I was calling to check on the status of the driver and was told he’d be there by 9:40. By 10am, he arrived, but at that point all the planning I had done for my day, around this scheduled pick-​up, was thrown out the window. Still no biggie, I adjusted, I just wished House of Rental would have at least offered to refund a portion of the additional charges for that special delivery/​pick-​up I needed. They didn’t and it affected my day, so I’m going to give them four stars instead of five.

Although previous experience with HoR was great, Brandy was wonderful, the most recent experience left us high and dry without ANY product. We were having a small party for my daughters first birthday. We requested 8 chairs (EIGHT!!!) for her birthday, for a Sunday pick up and return on Monday. I made an online request, then confirmed with Brandy. I questioned a Sunday pick-​up, and was given a «no problem» response. My husband, running errands the day of the party, showed up at the Skokie office, only to find the warehouse open, but the office not… meaning? NO CHAIRS. Now, eight chairs wont make/​break a party, but a 20 minute, out-​of-​the-​way drive, resulting in 5 phone calls for guests to bring their folding chairs was beyond annoying. We will not be using HoR EVER again, and either will our party guests. Poor communication at this establishment. Choose the delivery option ALWAYS, and pay in advance.

Wanted: A slew of high-​boy tables, corresponding linens, bar stools and a helium tank. Delivered. On a weekend. Turnaround time? Four days. You may think that this would be a somewhat simple order, but it’s actually quite tall (especially if you’ve fallen to the perils of procrastination).
Enter House of Rental. Brandy was quick to compile a competitive quote and provided her expert guidance on the what and the why. These items may not be sexy, but they’re essentials and don’t come cheaply. Truth: table linens cost almost double the price of the actual table rental. Who knew? Oh yeah, me… it wasn’t my first rodeo.

House of Rental can provide just about anything in a prompt, professional manner. I rented a canopy tent, tables/​chairs, linens, power generator, and a horseshoe game from the Skokie location for delivery on a Saturday. Jon (the tent expert) worked tirelessly with me through all of our changes in plans to place the order. The delivery was scheduled for 10am and arrived at 9:55. The delivery/​installation personnel were very friendly and professional. Their pricing is competitive with that of anyone out there, in the area or beyond. Need to rent? Go to The House.

My company has used House of Rental for the past 3 years for most of our event planning and equipment rental with great success. We have use them for both small scale parties where we have only needed a small stage and sound equipment to really large tented events for 300 people. I always know that House of Rental is going to show up on-​time, with really professional and helpful staff. For example, their staff will even help you move and arrange items that they did not bring in for you. They will do just about anything to make you happy. Another plus is that all of the equipment that we’ve rented from them has always arrived clean and in good condition, which has not always been the case with other companies I’ve used in the past. In addition, we’ve always been able to order everything we’ve needed for from them. We’ve never had a issue with them not carrying something we need, etc. Overall, this compay has great service and a very nice product. I never have to worry about something going wrong at an event when I work with House of Rental which is a big relief when you are planning an event.

Your son’s graduation party is tomorrow, you’ve got
100 people coming, and cat gets all crazy on catnip and ends up going
on a shredding spree, destroying your tent. Happens ALL the time
right? Fear not. The House of Rental can help you out. Feel like
dunking your cat into a pool of water while throwing balls at the
dunking booth to channel your frustration? You can rent a dunking
booth for such a purpose too (of course PITA will probably be at your
door with rented baseball bats to teach you a lesson.) You can always
escape into your inflated jumping castle to throw the PITA people off
balance and trap them in by zipping the net. They might at this point
forget the cat and start having some fun. They can join you for
karaōke with your rented machine and dance beneath your rented disco
ball. Someone turns on the fog machine and the bubble machine. They
fight for rental domination. This is the BEST PARTY EVER. One of the
PITA people asks you why you bought a dance floor and put it in your
backyard. You tell them you didn’t buy it, you RENTED it. Getting the
picture? House of Rental has a LOT of things you may want to look into
for putting on quite a show. Including plates to eat off of.
Necessary? Maybe not, but hey, they have them.

Oh my rentals are expensive, but without House of Rental our wedding would have taken place on the floor. They forgot a couple pieces of the dance floor, but luckily had enough time to bring them to us before the wedding started. The customer service was great and I would definitely recommend them.

I used House of Rentals to obtain a Dunk Tank. It was a last minute addition to our plans and there were a few glitches in the logistics of it all. However, the guy was extremely nice and even went the extra mile to make sure we got what we were looking for. They originally could not deliver on the day we needed (too last minute, not enough drivers scheduled) but the guy made a few calls, got someone else to help out and before I knew it, we’d pulled it off!
