Last year I purchased a Dopod from On The Go Solutions — based primarily on their reputation for customer service. On The Go Solutions policy on returns is: One of the advantages of working with On The Go Solutions, Inc. is that all products we sell are supported by the manufacturer. Any issues that arise can be answered by either the product manufacturer or the carrier. Although we strive to aide our customers in any manner possible, we are only the sales team, and cannot officially diagnose or «fix» any issues you may be having. We will furnish you with all the information(contact information, email information, websites) you need to contact the designated technical support team. In limited cases, for a $ 75.00 fee, we will step in and attempt to resolve any issues you may be having getting your questions answered. All items on our site carry a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty. Because these phones are imported, it may be necessary to send your phone back to the manufacturer overseas. This process may between 30 – 45 days. On The Go Solutions, Inc. is not responsible for issues arising from the warranty process. We are aware of the potential difficulties involved, and may be able to intercede on a customer’s behalf if possible. When, 10 months later, the touch screen on my still under warranty Dopod failed, OTGS advised me to return it to them for repair. I did so and OTGS acknowledged receipt on 3÷25÷08. As of 6÷07÷08, over 70 days later, OTGS has still not sent this unit for repair to the overseas manufacturer from which OTGS purchased this Dopod. It appears unlikely that I will get my repaired unit returned to me in less than 120 days. After 60 days OTGS did offer to return the unrepaired unit to me, but of course the unit is now out of warranty, so I declined that offer. My request that OTGS replace this unit with a new unit was summarily dismissed. Finally almost three months later here is how OTGS ‘solved’ my problem: «I’m sending your phone back to you today, and you can have it repaired any way you see fit.» Unfortunately my faith in OTGS’s customer service was badly misplaced and I can no longer recommend them for any purchases. This place has the solutions to all your problems. You can go in to the store with your product or they come to your house. Not only that, but their prices are very good. Also, they get their work done quickly and efficiently without bothering you.
