This is by far my favorite Starbucks in the Skokie/Evanston area. I visit this location almost every morning around 8:30am and have no complaints whatsoever. The baristas are super friendly, unlike many other locations I’ve been to. They are always smiling, energetic, and they even ask you how you are. The beverages are all made very consistently, very quickly, and they have never once screwed up my order.

Horrible. I try them all the time since they opened! because it’s close to home. But today will be my last visit. I went to the drive thru… My order was repeated to me 3 times … Waited forever and they still got it wrong. I drove back, go inside the store and they tell me to wait in line. LOL definitely my last visit here. Maybe the employees from the store on McCormick and Lincoln can come give them a few pointers. :) good luck!

Staff is super polite; however plan on waiting 20 minutes in line at the drive thru! If you’re on your way to work, stop at dunkin!

Nice staff. Come at 10 and they’re out of over half the things on the menu. Really frustrating. I know they’re a new location but they should plan accordingly

Just walked in at 8:18 asked for a coffee made on the clover machine. They said sorry since we are closing soon we shut the clover machine down already. It’s 8:18 you close at 9 and your shitting your machines down already. I will be contacting corporate on this.

On occasion you’ll see spectacular Starbucks locations(there’s one across from the art institute that’s quite pretty), but for the most part they all look nice(with the updated black, green, steel, and dark wood décor) but usually slightly claustrophobic with only a few windows. This one has a floor to ceiling wall of windows in the front, plus double high ceilings, nice Edison bulbs by the windows, pretty green really tall pictures on the wall, and other nice styling touches, all adding up to make this a super cozy place to work.(It’s a view of a parking lot, but a very spacious parking lot with trees and lots of sky to look at, and a pretty steakhouse across the way.) I’m not a huge fan of high chairs with high tables for long periods of sitting, and about half their seating is like that. But if you grab a table up front by the windows(especially one of the long ones that are very roomy), this is one of the nicest Starbucks in the Chicago area. Also has outdoor seating out front(if a little sunny at times since there is little around it other than the Starbucks to provide shade). Very nice baristas too(and service as always is zippy). I also like that it’s right next to a brand-new Noodles and company and a brand-new Mariano’s supermarket. Well above average for a Starbucks.

Award for worst customer service? I go to many different locations regularly and there’s something wrong at this one. I’ve been there three times and I’m done. There was some strange issue with each thing I ordered. The clover machine was«being cleaned» and was unusable for the foreseeable future. Whatever, things happen but the attitude was ridiculous from all but one of the employees. They could care less. Combined with the fact that they either can’t hear people over the counter or have trouble with english.
