This company is terrible with communication, and their customer service sucks. They are not helpful what so ever and even go to the extent of harassing their customers on the phone when they are seeking assistance. In my opinion using this company is a waist of money. I would not trust them with my personal items because if lost they basically do not want to be held responsible and they put the blame on the customer. They also are not careful with handling furniture, as they scratched my floors when moving the furniture out of my house. Honestly I was very disappointed with their service over all, especially with the customer service I received. I did not appreciate being yelled at on the phone by the manager. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau to file a formal complaint on my issues with this company.

I’m writing a new review, because I decided to give this company another chance, and because I believe in fairness. Now, I’m giving them a 3 star review, because they harass Me almost every day to change my review. I told them I would update the review, but I was going through a family emergency now, and it will have to wait. Now, as of today they are still harassing me about this review. I feel like this, if they would have did the job right at first, we wouldn’t have this situation. I’m going to always keep my reviews 100%. Now, I can say they did deliver my things as promised. The delivery guy was really nice, and respectful. The advice I can give you is, always check reviews before you book any company.

I recently used Chico and the Men to move from Nola to Texas. After getting a few quotes, they seemed to be the most reasonably priced and the person I spoke to initially was very helpful and pleasant. The reason I can’t give them all 5 stars is because communication was lacking in regards to the process, time of pick up and drop off. I was under the impression that my things would arrive the day they were picked up. This is partially my fault for misunderstanding the contract, but I also wish it had been explained a little more clearly to me. You should also know before hand that your things will be delivered in a VERY LARGE 18 wheeler (at least for longer distance moves). So if you are moving into an apartment complex or there is a parking lot involved, prepare to shuttle your things.
Aside for those small complaints, the movers were really nice guys and did their job well. They were quick and friendly and got all of my things from point A to B.
