History

Established in 1984.

GYM ROMPERS was developed in New Orleans in 1984 by Kathleen Rooney, a Registered Nurse with a Masters in Education and a Minor in Psychology. Her experience in the area of childhood development led to an interest in developing a quality educational program for pre-​schoolers and their parents.

Slidell Gym Rompers has been in Slidell for over 10 years serving the children and parents of this community.

Business Owner

Tammy has a great love for small children, watching them grow and learn. She enjoys helping them to discover new skills, learn new songs and to just have fun with their primary teachers their parents and caregivers. Tammy has worked with children for over 20 years and has 6 children of her own.
