This is the local bar version of a gentleman’s club. «Across the lake» from New Orleans, the women are attractive, bartenders are friendly and attentive, all while maintaining a very non-​pushy atmosphere.
Table dances are 25 per song with frequent 2-​for-​1 specials on dances. Drink prices are moderate and what you would expect and made well. Building is clean with a no frills kind of atmosphere. Definitely a place to have a good time.

As far as I-​10 gentle men’s clubs go, Scuttlebutt is the cream of the crop. One might expect the dancers to have crawled in from under a nearby overpass, or to have been born and raised in the back room of the joint, but even their Sunday night rotation featured lovely women who could dance at any club from Vicksburg to Vegas.
The warm and intimate interior is designed to give unobstructed views of the stage from any part of the club, but you’re gonna wanna pay some extra money to see these women up close. The best bodies in the bayou sure know how to maneuver, and the dj spins uncomfortably hot tracks to really get them going.
The prices are reasonable and the drinks are cold, I can’t think of any establishment between New Orleans and Tuscaloosa that I’d rather be.

I’m not sure if it is still the case, but Scuttlebutt used to let 19 & 20 year olds in, unline all the 21&up establishments in the quarter. Thus, this is where we would go when we had someone in the group under 21. If you were under 21 you had a higher cover, and you still had the 3 drink minimum, but your drink choise were limited… coke, sprite, rootbeer.
This place really isn’t as skeezy as you might expect/​hope for (being located on the service road behind a wal-​mart and all.

Nice little joint for this area– conveniently located near a Wal-​Mart and a shady motel. I stayed at said shady motel a bit after Katrina wiped this part of the country off the planet and the traffic was mostly construction labor. It is also famous among military stationed in nearby Gulfport and Pascagoula. The girls are average, but there is some decent talent gleaned from the surrounding swamps.
