Steve is a former Firefighter who specialized in building inspections and arson investigations in his 20+ year career. As a member of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI), International Association of Certified Indoor Air Consultants (IAC2) and licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Home Inspectors (LSBHI) yearly continuing education is required to maintain an inspection license and be up to date on the current building issues.

Our experience with SON Property exceeded our expectations. We had to call them out to perform a mold inspection on a property that was occupied by a tenant that was attempting to claim that there was «Black Mold» present that was causing them illness and this is why they were forced to break their lease and threating legal action.
Needless to say, this was potentially a bad situation. The professional way in which SON Property handled the inspection and the detailed handling of the samples that were taken and their final report was impeccable. Once we received the final report from SON Property there was no doubt, that this was NOT «Black Mold» and more important the lab they used identified it as mildew, which eliminated any potential legal exposure to our company.
I cannot express enough how satisfied we are with SON Property, not because of the results of the inspection but rather because of their detailed and professional inspection and reporting. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing their services.
