History

Established in 2010.

After years of working in advertising throughout the nation, a group of us (industry friends and business associates) decided to return to Pittsburgh and start our own advertising agency here. We wanted nothing more than to work for clients and companies that operate on the Pittsburgh values that we love so much-​hard work, dedication, kindness, and tradition. Nearly everyone who works with The Dines Group grew up here, so we fondly remember going to see Dan Marino play and Mario’s debut with the Penguins. We can all do a Sophie Masloff impression. We’ve been eating Primanti sandwiches since childhood. Simply put, we love our city and we wanted to use that love to become an influential part of Pittsburgh’s business culture.

Business Owner

Prior to founding The Dines Group in Pittsburgh, PA, Ter Dines worked for JAKKS Pacific in Malibu, CA, and the integrated marketing agency Phelps in Santa Monica, CA. After working on national and international accounts like Panasonic, Whole Foods, Dunn Edwards, ARAMARK, MURAD, CarMD, DirecTV and others, he returned to Pittsburgh to start both a family and a marketing agency.

Today, The Dines Group represents many B2B and B2C businesses in the Pittsburgh area and continues to support small and medium sized businesses in the area with high-​level marketing strategy, execution, and success.
