Balanced Pooches

We recently finished three, in-​home training sessions with John Penziner of Balanced Pooches. With our first grandchild on the way, we wanted to make very sure that our, otherwise, sweet two year old labradoodle wasn’t developing some bad habits e.g. barking, jumping and possessiveness, that would detract from the experience.
We had taken the «puppy training classes» when our pup was younger and, while these were helpful, they don’t compare to the in-​depth, personalized and expert training that John provided.
John’s approach and techniques were highly effective and gentle. He really understands the dog mentality and his training methods have been developed around it. He focusses on clear communication and reward. We were surprised how quickly our dog picked up on the exercises that were targeted at eliminating the annoying habits.
John seemed very dedicated and put in twice as much time as indicated on the contract. Frankly, he could charge much more for the time and results he gets. We highly recommend him!
