At Gibbons’ Green Gate Farm we produce and sell healthy animals and crops while beautifying our corner of the countryside. We continually seek learning in all aspects of our natural world to secure the longevity of our farm. We take delight in and choose to offer our country home experience to you.

History

Established in 2014.

A love of animals and the good Earth drove us to seek a country-​home experience for our young family. We purchased these few acres of raw undeveloped pasture and started to work. Water and a lane came first then Tom contracted and worked on our home. The older children helped with whatever they could do. Our youngest was born a year after the home was completed– a little «ship» on a sea of green. Through the years as finances allowed, trees were planted and animals and out-​buildings added, the garden was always here.

It has been a joy and a lot of work but we have all taken great pleasure in improving and enhancing our little corner of the world. Now after 30 years we have children who also desire to share our country-​home experience with friends and ‘friends to be made’.

Rachel and Jared have a farm stand and breakfast on Saturday mornings and cater dinner parties by reservation in all the venues.

Manager

The combined experiences of brother and sister, Jared and Rachel, is what makes this whole business venture possible. Jared graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture and takes care of the farm and gardens. Rachel with years of experience in restaurants, cafes, and customer relations is indispensable for the front end of the business. Come enjoy a Saturday breakfast we love getting to know new people.
