The best darn gyro I’ve had in Rhode Island, period. Fresh food, friendly service and zero atmosphere — it’s in a gas station. Did I mention they make their own falafel, from scratch, and fry to order? I will be back soon to try other items on the diverse menu.

The food here is so amazingly fresh and delicious. I was introduced to Pick Pockets by a friend and a bit put off by «gas station food» but I am now a believer. I was they had lamb more often though. Be sure to try the balsamic dressing too! Yummy!

I had this book marked for a while but took a while to get over there. I was expecting something amazing, going by the reviews, but I was not overly impressed. Average gyro, IMO. nothing really special but it was still good. Prices were decent. Wouldn’t be my first choice for future quick lunches.

Saying this is the best food you can find on the inside of a gas station does not do this place justice. Regardless of its location, its delicious, fresh, and authentic. I like to come here for lunch on the weekends to grab a lamb and falafel gyro. This past time, they had run out of falafel and lamb so I tried a ground beef and lamb mix called Kefta which happened to be delicious. The prices are reasonable for the quality and portions.

The food is GREAT but the service is terrible. I work not too far away… we’ll put our order in at 11 and when we go to pick it up just before noon… they look at us like they never even heard about our order. This has happened on more than one occasion.

Excellent food. Excellent Prices. Always fresh. Have been going to J’s deli for years and realized that next door there was better food. Although J’a is great, it does not compare. Definitely worth a try!

Fresh middle eastern food! Any lover of food or flavor will appreciate this place. All the meats are fresh and cooked to order, and a wide variety of sauces and toppings to put in your wrap or salad.

«Feta makes it better». Tony and his crew do a bang up job! Don’t let the gas station storefront fool you. This guy can use flavor! Great sauces all homemade really reasonable prices. Get anything with his marinated steak tips! Tender and super flavorful. His«magic powder» rocks. Super clean super fresh!

The food is fantastic and the owner is inviting and pleasant. Absolutely delightful fresh food that will expand your horizons. Tuck inside of a gas station this gem is soon to be on Diner’s, Drive-ins, and Dives.

We came back for Christmas break & had come here 3 times! I love The Works wrap! They are very generous with the toppings & stuffing. They are also very friendly. The falafel is one of the most yummiest that I have tasted anywhere! They have other wraps there, but I’ve only gotten the same thing every time I went. My teen loves the old fashion steak wrap. He said that it was yummy! It’s in Quick Stop gas station & J’s Deli, I highly recommend you stop in here if you want a good falafel wrap. I’m gonna miss & dream about this place!

Know this! It is in the Quickets store, the little grocery store at the Shell station. My new favorite place for super fresh, super healthy foods. And how do they make their pocket bread so delicious? Large portions. They make the falafel and fry it right there! Gyro? Yum. Super roasted veggie with hummus and tabouli? So yum. Chicken shwarma? Yum yum yum. Their menu is stupefying, just order anything, you’ll be back to try the others. Next on my list to try… The Honey Monster and the new Honey Bee. Also…some of the best grape leaves ever. Also look forward to trying the pizzas, kabobs, burritos, roasts. And their Greek Salad… a meal in itself… I love to grab one to keep for dinner or next day’s lunch.

The mister and I were in the area and he’s had great experiences with the food which he has ordered in the past from here. There were a lot of great options on the board for things to order. I decided to go with the Athena. There were supposed to be a ton of Veggies and some chicken in my roll up. It was pretty busy so the clerk behind the counter who was making it asked what I wanted it and I just told him nothing too fancy just how it’s described on the board. So, he looks at the board for a little bit and tosses a bunch of stuff onto a pita and then starts cooking some chicken. Upon looking at my wrap a little closer it appeared to be missing half of the ingredients which it was supposed to have in there. I asked the person for the missing items and he said«we’re out». Ok, not sure why he wouldn’t have disclosed this before making my sandwich. If I had known that i’d have chosen something else. The phone orders began to pile up and I start to hear one man behind the counter muttering about how the order was for the guy who sold him a car and ripped him off so he was going to put all the less expensive ingredients on his dinner plate and salad as he continued to mutter to himself. I just don’t understand where all these rave reviews are coming from. I encountered two overwhelmed people who were haphazardly applying the toppings and having them spill out on the counter and throwing these items away all the while muttering inappropriate things about other customers in front of me. This same person(who i believe was the manager) was clearing tables in the eating area and was picking up food from the floor to throw in the trash and not changing his gloves after. I’m totally disgusted with this place.

I live literally 2 minutes from this place and have been going there for years! I’m not quite sure when Tony opened, but we started going there far before photos decorated the walls. People are initially uneasy about eating from a place located within a gas station/convenience store, but this place is so clean, food is fresh and the price is right. My fiancé likes to get the combo chicken and beef Shawarma which comes with salad, pita and rice pilaf. I like to get the falafel & gyro wrap chock full of lettuce, veggies, and The garlic aioli type sauce which is so delicious. Everything is good here, even the«burritos» which is essentially a wrap with rice pilaf in it and BBQ chicken or whatever else you please. Tony and Selly(spelling) are on point with whipping something good up if you tell them to surprise you!

I absolutely love this place! The first time I came here I was hooked but foolishly only gave it 4 stars… what was I thinking. I keep trying new things and have loved every one of them. The only downside of trying the new items is I feel like I am cheating on my old favorites because they are so delicious and have always treated me so well. Add reasonable prices and a friendly, fun, and generally awesome staff this place is the perfect place to grab a quick lunch. I recommend eating over a table and not eating in your car. These wraps can get a little messy and sometimes the deliciousness tries to escape! If you like Greek, Gyros, and/or just good food this is the place for you.

So tasty. And so much more. Food is phenomenal and the staff is very courteous. Only thing that sucks is having to buy a soda through shell, other side of the store. So two lines. But the place itself is hard to beat

5 stars for a place in a gas station you say? Definitely. The girl working at the counter was super nice and helpful. I was impressed that everything looked very fresh and the place was spotless. They have a recycling bin. Got The Works and the Chicken Mozzarella wraps, both good. Their falafel was a bit sweet for my taste but that is just a personal preference. Bakalava was good too. Would definitely go again

Nice Mediterranean place in the Shell gas station. Right next to J’s Deli. Falafel & gyro wrap was delish!
