Specialties

Our small animal services include new pet and yearly exams, vaccinations, heartworm tests, microchipping, internal medicine, and spay/​neuter surgeries as well as other general orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries. Our large animal services include herd health and equine programs, vaccination protocals, reproduction services, obstetrical services, laboratory work ups, consultations, etc. We offer these services either on farm or in our indoor haul in facility, depending on the client’s need. We have a doctor on call for emergencies 24 hours a day/​7 days a week.

History

Established in 2007.

We would like to welcome you to Thomas Veterinary Services. We are a mixed animal veterinary practice in Smiths Grove, KY. Dr. Roger Thomas opened his clinic in January of 2007 and it has been growing ever since. This has allowed us the opportunity to bring an associate veterinarian on board. We were fortunate to have Dr. Travis England join our staff in 2010. We treat and care for dogs and cats as well as a variety of large animals from cows and horses to sheep and goats. We are located in a small rural farming community which allows for a more «down home» feel to our office. We enjoy getting to know each patient and the owners that bring them to their appointments.
