I’ve been coming to G&J since they were named Hondamotive; this family business is hands down the BEST! From a female’s perspective it’s great to have a mechanic that you can trust and won’t get ripped off. I own 2 Hondas and avoid the dealership as much as possible. I highly recommend Gene and Jerry’s Automotive, call them if you’re not sure if your (make) car is their speciality. Overall GOOD people!

Thanks to Unilocal I found Gene & Jerry’s about a year ago. Prior to that I was faithful to the dealership for all my Acura repairs. After a series of failed attempts to get an appointment with the dealership for what I thought was a serious issue, I took my MDX to Gene & Jerry’s. My serious issue wound up being a loose part. I was hooked when they told me «no charge» Who doesn’t like free? I wanted give a 5-​star review that instant but hubby said it was probably their ploy to hook me.
Since then I’ve been back for every problem/​maintenance service. Except the airbag recall I had to get at the dealership. I decided to go ahead and get an oil change too. I also received a list of over $ 2k in recommended service from the dealership. I’ll be running that list by Gene & Jerry’s when I go for my next major service.
This most recent visit came after my car started acting funky on the highway. I was able to pull over and hubby met me to drive my car. As we approached the Acura dealership, he asked if I wanted to just drop my car off. I proclaimed no! I had to drive the extra miles to Gene & Jerry’s. As usual, I received excellent service.
This is definitely the place to go for all your Acura and Honda service needs.

I have used these guys for years! From my sons car to my husbands truck they are very knowledgeable and straight to the point. I have never felt like they were trying to «sell» me extra services. I feel like every time i go they are busy but still manage to get my vehicle in and out. I am a stickler for pricing so i always check around and they have very very fair prices. The gentleman are older and are very good at what they do!

Recently my 89 Acura had issues and I have used Gene & Jerry in the past for minor repair work. This time it was an alternator issue I had a lifetime warranty at another parts place and they wanted me (since it was an on line order) to travel to get the alternator and return it before they would replace it. The stand up guys G & J are they took me out of the loop, pulled the alternator and went over to the parts place themselves and picked it up. Saved me about an hour in traffic. This is my Acura’s new repair home.

i had my timing belt replaced and brought my own parts. no fuss from them, they quoted me the price for service and that’s what i paid. they did it quickly and no problems.

Seriously the most helpful folks I have ever used. I went in to check on a problem which the oil change place swore I needed to take care of. Pete looked it over and said that it was perfectly fine, replaced my headlight at no charge and had the front office call around to several glass companies to get the best quote for me for a cracked windshield. I am always met with such great service and will continue to drive the extra distance to visit G & J’s Auto!

This place is great. I’ve only been there once and it was only for a dead battery but they definitely had the opportunity to sell me other services and didn’t try to do that. They got my car done quickly too, which was awesome! I will definitely be back!

I’ve been going to them since I was a little girl when my dad needed to get his car fixed. They are so reliable and like family. I won’t let anyone else touch my car other than Gene and Jerry. They used to be called Honda-​Motive, but had to change their name. The work on Hondas mostly, and also Nissans, and Toyotas some. Very affordable and reliable. Sarah is the spitfire behind the desk and runs the show. Gene and Jerry and also Jerry’s son are the technicians. The Best.

I haven’t gone to anyone else since I found these guys.
I had taken my car to Ed V. Honda and they told me I needed $ 800 of repair so I left. When I had Gene and Jerry look at it they told me it would be $ 150 to repair it and everything was good. I told them what Ed Honda said and they laughed so hard because they have heard that over and over again.
My brother and I have used these guys now for over 10 years. I always get a second opinion and these guys always win out.
