History

Established in 2010.

Megatone Music started out as an online only business back in 2010 selling musical instruments around the world. Originally we carried used Gibson and Fender guitars and used boutique amps. Since then we have added lots of new product lines by some of the best guitar, amp and effects builders in the industry.

In addition, we do guitar repair such as set-​ups, pick-​up installation and more.

Darryl A.

Business Owner

Darryl Arthur is local musician in Atlanta, Georgia. Playing in mostly punk and rock bands and always having a bad case of G.A.S…(Gear Aquistion Syndrome) which is what got him in the business. Since his teens he collected guitars and effects believing in the theory you can never have too many guitars. He wanted to turn a passion into a business and Megatone Music was born! He invested and worked hard to build a local music store in Smyrna, GA which is a suburb right outside of the Atlanta City Limits.

Darryl lives in Smyrna with his wife and three kids and loves the area.
