WHATEVER YOU DO, AVOID THIS COMPANY!
1. The movers arrived at 1:34 for my noon appointment.
2. I had a Groupon deal for $ 125 for 2 hours. I moved a TINY (700sq ft) apartment on the 2^nd floor to a storage unit 4 miles away. I’ve NEVER taken over 2 hours to move. Unfortunately, these guys took their pretty little time walking around with NOTHING in their hands. Total time: 2 hours 40 minutes.
3. I had to agree to the shrink wrapping that took 45 minutes to complete.
4. I had to pay additional fees other than the Groupon $ 125, including $ 50 fuel charge.
5. I paid a $ 250 deposit, but when we hit the 3^rd hour, they stopped working and asked for the $ 50 fuEl fee before the rest of my property was removed.
6. I called the company and they apologized and expected me to be ok with a $ 10 discount off of the $ 50 fuel fee.
7. After I was forced to pay the fuel fee, the movers accused me of throwing them under the bus because I told the company manager that they moved slow, took empty-​handed trips to the truck, and took a phone call while still providing a service, BY THE HOUR! I had to help them load the truck.
8. They stalled at a GREEN LIGHT while following me, which put them 8 minutes behind me on the way to the storage unit.
9. My $ 125 expectation turned out to be $ 270 for a 1 bedroom apartment moving to a storage facility 4 miles down the road.
10. The manager called me back in an attempt to coerce me to NOT give a negative review of the company.
The deal seems good, but you’ll end up paying more than expected due to the slow service and additional fees!

They were 1 hour and 10 minutes late. I had to call the corporate line to see where they were. The van is beat up! The contract has a lot of things that will make you at fault for everything! They start their meter as soon as they drive up! They are charging you, while they are explaining the contract! 1 will actually move thing (Brandon) the other ‘the money man’ will be on the phone via ear piece (speaking to someone about a car max deal and other things).
They are slow with the moving, will not pack the container efficiently and the van will not drive over 45 mph! You will spend $ 300 over the groupon! Your stuff will get wet! And they will ask for a tip afterwards!

I have moved plenty of times and it is better to rent the UHaul yourself, hire some day labor from Home Depot! You will come out better on your end!

The worse moving service. They damaged my dining set and didn’t repair or follow up. However, they had me complete a bogus claim form and 4 months later… NOTHING!

I scheduled my appointment a month in advance with hopes of making the moving process seamless. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned and caused this to be my most stressful move to date. I was scheduled for ⁹⁄₂₅ between 3 and 5 PM. I took the day off work to make sure all my belongings were packed and ready to go upon the mover’s arrival. I got a call a little after 5 to let me know the guys were running late due to the rain. I understand things happen so I wasn’t extremely upset and waited patiently. 3 hours roll by so I call around 8 PM to make sure they were still coming. I was told the guys were almost done at their previous move and would be to me in about an hour. I was pretty annoyed at this point but continued to wait. Another 2 hours pass and I get a call at 10:04 PM from the driver telling me dispatch told them to cancel my appointment because they’re an hour away and they needed to reschedule for 8 am the following day. Getting a call 5 hours after my appointment time basically telling me I have wasted an entire afternoon is completely unacceptable. What type of organization is this and how is it that they didnt know they were an hour away and wouldn’t be able to get to me until 10:04 PM? Isn’t that the reason I provided my address up front? Keep in mind that my entire apartment is packed, furniture has been broken down and boxes have been sealed. I now have to break open boxes to find towels for a shower and a change of clothes, then spend the night on the couch. Why has the manager not called to apologize? At this point, I really wanted to cancel but it was last minute and I didn’t have the option of waiting until the following weekend so I allowed them to come the following day. One would think after wasting my entire afternoon the following day, they would arrive promptly at 8 AM ready to roll. Nope. My move didn’t start until 8:25. Fast forward 6 hours as I’m unwrapping my mattress and unpacking after the guys left, I realize it’s soaking wet along with the box with my blankets and towels. I understand with rain, a little dampness is to be expected when transferring material but my mattress was soaking wet as if it had been sitting in a pool of water. Either the floors of the truck were wet or the ceiling in the truck was leaking. This would have been expected if I was hauling my stuff on the back of an old pickup truck but I spent almost $ 700.00 for PROFESSIONAL MOVERS. I called to file a claim and was told it would be 3 to 5 days before anything could be done. I don’t think I have ever been so disappointed with professional services received and I have yet to receive any type of apology or acknowledgement from any member of management, or anyone else. I would never ever in life use this company again.
