The Friends’ Used Bookstore inside located inside the Library. Selection includes magazines, audiobooks, videos, fiction and nonfiction. Price range: $.10 to $ 5. The bookstore is open the same hours as the Library. The Friends also sell note cards, book bags, and matted prints.

Exhibits & Displays:

Bi-​monthly art displays of paintings, photography, sculpture and crafts are on display in the Upper Level gallery and exhibit cases.

Other exhibits include permanent displays of stained glass windows, the Smyrna Charter, Royal Doulton figurines, Civil War artifacts, and numismatics.

History

Established in 1936.

Smyrna Library is an independent city-​owned library for the residents of Smyrna, Georgia. Non-​residents may purchase annual memberships for individuals or families.

The library celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2011. The current facility in the Village Green Town Center was built in the 1990s with the development of the new downtown complex.
