Sonic Drive-In of Smyrna 3

Most of the time the food is delicious. But lately the food and the drinks have suffered. Today I got grilled cheese sandwiches and they were terrible. How does someone mess up a grilled cheese sandwich? Plus I got to cherry Dr Pepper’s and they both tasted horrible. One was too sweet and the other one. Honestly I couldn’t describe the taste except that it was bad.

Love the crew at this Sonic. I never have issues here, the food is always hot and fresh and the staff is fantastic. (I only go late night between 2am-​4am)

I don’t usually go to Sonic. I’m not sure why, but I never think about it. It’s currently nothing but snow and ice on the ground and Sonic is one of the few places open (along with my place of employment). I stopped buy for some breakfast and was happy to use the drive thru. One of the reasons I never think of Sonic is I don’t like when they come out to your car. I find it awkward. I’m weird, I know this.
I ordered the breakfast burrito combo, with bacon. It comes with tater tots and a drink. I’m a sucker for a strawberry limeade. It was 5ish dollars, which seems a lot, but the burrito is huge. I was surprised to find actual bacon strips inside. A lot of places use that chopped up bacon in the breakfast burritos that taste like Bacon Bits for salads (Taco Bell, I’m looking at you). Hot eggs, cheese and fresh bacon in a burrito, along with hot tots?! I need to not make this an everyday thing or I’ll be 350 pounds.

Shout out to the Peanut Butter Cookie Cream Pie shake bro. That’s what I am talking about. So simple… so good. I’d get that again and again.

LOVE this sonic! I only go through the drive through because I am on my way to work, and I only stop for one thing… A route 44 lemon Ice water! Oh yeah, that is my addiction! Every weekday morning I stop by. There is one girl who takes my order alot, she has a strong country type accent but she is great! Always smiling and tells me to have a nice day. If there is a line in the drive through and its taking a little long she brings peoples food out to them, including my water which is nice especially when I am crunching time. Its now to the point where when she sees my car pull up to the order box she says Welcome to Sonic, Route 44 lemon ice water? HAHA! YES YES and YES! You guys rock! Although I do not eat fast food anymore, my kids love this location too and they say their food is «the bomb» lol

Needs better customer service, the management is nice however
