I have no idea what all these people that have negative comments about this place are talking about. This place is absolutely amazing, I have been frequenting this place for about a year now and never once have I had a bad experience. The wings are always cooked to perfection, the rice is amazing. And the owner is the sweetest, it’s actually hard for me to enjoy wings from any other place because the wings at wings 101 are so amazing. If you are a fan of perfection when it comes to wings this is the place for you. And let’s not discuss how generous they are with the portions, I always have food left over the next day. If you want quality food at a decent price this is definitely the place for you.

Let me start off by saying this; I never thought a wing place would have good catfish, but goddamn that swai is amazing! Idk what they season it with but I hope they don’t change it. And their teriyaki sauce?! Which is house made, and not that watered down store bought bs is the best I’ve ever had! Seriously, I put that stuff on everything!!! Lol I even ask for some to take home and they gladly put it in little to-go containers. The girls at the front are always courteous and the owner even comes out to help when its super busy. Everything I’ve tried from the teriyaki chicken burger to their wings has been really good, especially the house fried rice. Haven’t tried the fries yet, but I’ve heard they’re good, like crack good! All in all, great restaurant and its reasonably priced and 20 steps above wing stop, also the portions are big and the restaurant is actually clean(something a lot of places seem to fail at

Wings 101 has the best variety of food in Smyrna. The gyros and the teriyaki chicken are delicious. Great service and food is made in a timely manner. Wings 101 will always be my go to.

Wings 101 just didn’t do it for me. It actually felt like I wasted money, since I didn’t even finish the food. I paid $ 9.11 with taxes for a 10 piece wing combo that came with fries and a medium fountain drink. On a positive note, they will allow you choose 2 different flavor wings on a 10 piece combo, so I chose lemon pepper and medium, well the lemon pepper were great while the medium were horrible, the mediums were tossed in this thick red wing sauce. The fries didn’t seem to be well cooked, I was actually a little disappoint as I stopped eating and tossed half of my food out. Service was good, the young lady was polite and when she didn’t have any customers, she cleaned up a bit. The restaurant was somewhat clean when I came in, I noticed a funny odor as I waited on my wings and realized that a plumbing company was outside digging half of the parking lot up… maybe having an issue with sewage or something. I will say this, there are to many wings restaurant in this area for slackers, I truly hope this place survives, but they definitely need a new recipe for their hot wings. I won’t be back. :-(

NO! Why is this place still open? The wings are small and the sauce is your typically«hot wing» flavored canned goop. And please tell me why I would want to order rice with my wings? Maybe the other food items are good? They seem to care and put a lot of money into their decoration vs. their food. The building looks nice and clean but the food could use some of that mula to improve. Not a place to waste your money on. Ya’ll want some good wings? Visit US Café Express on Spring Rd!

My family and I wanted something quick but delicious. We decided it would be wings. We heard all this talk about Wings 101 on Windy Hill Rd. Well that was an experience I do not wish on my worst enemy. When you walk in and can smell the restroom… that’s not a good sign. The dining area should be kept clean at all times. There should also be a customer service class because the cashier/owner needs to surely be in that class. I will never spend money there again.

I’ve driven by this place at least 20 times since they took over the location formerly held by Shark’s Fish and Chicken. Finally decided to stop in tonight. I googled them shortly after I saw the sign put up — and I discovered that they have multiple locations: one in Atlanta, two in Norcross and one in Tucker. I also discovered that they appear to have some nontraditional wing spot offerings like sweet potato fries and fried rice. My experience here was all over the place — so here are the highlights: 1. There is a drive-thru with marquis and a drive thru window but they say they aren’t using it because they cook ‘to order’ and the volume plus time needed to prepare most meals would cause drive-thru to get backed up. I was irritated because it was late — and I’m lazy — didn’t plan on getting out of my car. There is a big glass or plexi glass window that allows you to see everything that’s going on in the kitchen. That’s a nice touch for germaphobes. Smiley face for that and for cooking everythihng fresh to order. 2. The wait staff was pretty friendly. I had a LOT of questions. And for the most part — the two cashiers kept their cool and didn’t give me any attitude. Smiley face for being sweet and patient. 3. Menu seems like it needs some tweaking. So initially, I was going to order a burger — but they only offer white or yellow American cheese. They even put white American cheese on the philly which was my next choice. The chicken tenders are pre-frozen — not hand breaded so I didn’t want to try those. So I finally opted for the tilapia fish dinner. While waiting there — I discovered the mozarella cheese sticks were battered(not crumb breaded) — so I ordered some of those too. Frowny face for limiting my menu options. 4, The food. Good stuff first — the cheese sticks were great, if overpriced. Nearly $ 7 for an order of 5. I love battered cheese sticks and they are hard to find for some reason. My fish, was awful. Honestly, it was so thin — I’m not even sure it was tilapia. And it had a cornmeal breading. Which I’m not a fan of on any fish. My french fries were ‘pretty’ but undercooked so I kept biting into hard, undercooked potatoes. I typically love crinkle cut fries(what is about changing the shape of a potato that seems to change the taste of the potato?!) I declined the 2 slices of white bread, coleslaw and the ‘drink’ — but was charged the exact same price. I paid nearly $ 8 and only ate a few bites of the fish(I just couldn’t force down the thin, crunchy side pieces) and about 6 crinkle fries. But honestly, I guess that’s what I get for ordering non-wing-food at a wing spot. Neutral face. 5. Long wait times. When I walked in — there were 4 people waiting on their food. Seems like a lot. Which leads me to next point. 5a. I mentioned staff was friendly — but I witnessed a bit of poor customer service while I waited: there was a guy waiting on his food when I got there. After about 10 minutes, his number was called. As the cashier was bringing it up — she noticed that the ticket said ‘boneless’ — but the to-go-container was full of bone-in wings. She turned around and started fussing at kitchen staff, ignoring the customer standing there. He finally had to project his voice and ask, «What’s wrong?» She finally turned around and explained they’d prepared bone-in wings. She assured him that they were cooking him more wings(boneless this time) straight away. But they didn’t offer him anything for his inconvenience, not a free side, or even a discount on existing purchase. And she really shouldn’t have been fussing /chastising kitchen staff with all of us standing there listening /watching. Save it for the staff meetings. Even though it didn’t happen to me, I think he should have been giving some sort of compensation for their mistake /his extended wait time. He was there when I arrived and actually still there waiting when I left with my food. So Frowny face for bad customer service there. 6. You pay the same price for boneless wings as you do for traditional, bone-in wings. Again, I don’t eat wings — but that seems nice. Smiley Face for this. That totals up to 3 smiley faces, 2 frowny faces and 1 neutral face. Hmmm… Overall — I think they’ve got some bugs to work out — but if they can figure out how to turn orders more quickly without sacrificing freshness — they should be okay. I personally wouldn’t choose this place when its so close to one of my new favorites Hibachi Express. And I definitely wouldn’t go here for fish when there are cheaper, fresher, meatier, better tasting options nearby. But since I know most people love wings — I definitely think they’re worth a try.

I like my food crispy… so you have to ask. The food tastes good, the place is clean, with two tvs and radio. Just ask for your food crispy other than that! It’s ok. I gave it 3 stars because the food service is slow, they are quick to get your order but slow to get it out :/
