My wife and I eat here every Friday night. The margaritas and strawberry daiquiris are awesome. I go off the menu and get traditional chicken tacos with cilantro and onions on corn tortillas. They’re delicious. My wife loves their shrimp fajitas. Get chopped cilantro for the salsa Ask for Maricela or Oscar.

Love this place we go there almost weekly. Food is consistently great and service is the best: always with a smile. You can tell the staff is vested in the customer satisfaction.

Atmosphere: energetic and casual. Great patio during the summertime Staff: friendly and efficient Food: great. Always hot and quick Parking: always available even on Friday night This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. They are always consistent with the service and the food. I go at least 3x a month. The best part of the meal is the shot of tequila at the end of the meal!!!

The food is really good here. They even on some nights give you a shit of tequila after dinner. But on their busier nights the service is very slow. We came here on a Friday night and I think we ate two bowls of chips before our food came out.

I feel weird about giving Little Mexico 3 stars… They are not really a 3 star restaurant but not really a 4 star either. More like 3.5… They are just slightly above average for a Mexican restaurant. The service is fine and the place is clean. Even the restroom is clean which is harder and harder to find these days. We were seated promptly and our drinks brought right away. We ordered cheese sauce before we ordered our entrée and it showed up quickly as well. The star of the night was the margaritas. They were a perfect mix and with what seemed like a little extra tequila. Also the price for the size seemed like a really good value. After we ordered and our entrees showed up they were not bad but there was nothing spectacular about them either. That is how I came up with the 3.5 The food was average 3 and the drinks were above average 4 so we hit 3.5 Don’t pass this place up but don’t expect miracles either.

So if you’ve read my past reviews, you would know I’m from Cali that has some of the BEST Mexican food so my expectations are high! I’ve yet found a good Mexican spot in Ga. which depresses me lol, especially since it’s my favorite! I went to Little Mexico, my order was To Go! The hostess wasn’t very friendly or helpful when I asked questions. I ordered a combo plate with a chilli Relleno, taco and chicken enchilada, I also ordered my husband a Carnitas plate. My food came out pretty fast, but the carnitas were under cooked so I literally had to go home put in a frying pan and season it up myself! The flavor just wasn’t there! Ugh ! The beans tasteless I had to season those up too! Never have I ever had to recook and season my Mexican food!!! My chilli relleno was nasty and not cooked like I am used too ! A chilli Relleno is supposed to have a spongy deep fried batter over the pepper that’s stuffed with cheese and topped with sauce, this was just the pepper not battered and it was stuffed with ground beef!!! Ugh the Mexican food struggle is so real here!!! Needless to say the salsa was tasty but they have me only 1 lil tiny container and a big olé bag of chips so not enough salsa. The rice had no taste either. I won’t be back and won’t recommend this spot sorry folks! Unless it’s just for a cocktail and salsa.

Ordered 5 steak burritos today for myself and 4 workers. Nothing authentic about them, I’d say they were on same level as taco bell. Stay away. Bla!

I came here for the first time to try out. Alambre and Pollo Chorizo is over the top. So far the food is good and I hope they maintain like that.

For me personally, this is the best Mexican you can get in Snellville, and they beat the vastly overrated and bland El Jinete by leaps and bounds. The menu is deep and prices are very reasonable. Great place to go for lunch too, as you can spend less than 10 dollars for a hearty meal. For starters, the chips and salsa are OK– pretty standard, tasty but not memorable. Another review I read here says they have a spicy salsa that you have to request, I will definitely remember that next time. In fact, I shouldn’t even have to request it, they should offer it so people will know about it, but I digress… Anyway, I highly recommend their Choriqueso(cheese dip with chorizo sausage bits), my favorite appetizer. As for dishes, I love their Pollo Fundido, Chipotle chicken, or their Chorizo chicken. The fajita quesadilla is huge and very tasty also. Their regular fajitas are pretty good too and will fill you up right. Service can be a bit hit or miss as far as attentiveness, but I have not had any egregiously horrible experiences though. As long as the quality can remain consistent, I will be a continuous customer. 4 stars!

I have been a very loyal customer and have frequented this restaurant several times each month over the last 4 years. However, tonight I was quite surprised to be turned away and not seated at 9:37pm and told that they were closing in 5 minutes.

Their chips and salsa are excellent. Request the spicy salsa — it is freaken hotttt! Chile poblano are a winner always here as they are stuffed with chicken. The chimichanga is also great. And don’t forget the oversized margarita!

I grabbed a take out order from Little Mexico for lunch the other day. There are many lunch specials for under $ 10. I ordered the chicken chimichanga for around $ 6. Several disappointing experiences with lunch take out at various other restaurants have me always bracing myself for the worst. When the food came out in under 15 minutes, I was very impressed. When I found that they included chips, salsa, and plastic silverware without me having to ask, I was downright ecstatic. At this point, the food didn’t even need to be good! No just kidding, the food always needs to be good, and it was. The chimichanga had one of the more bizarre filling to tortilla ratios that I’ve seen, but I didn’t feel cheated. My only complaint was about the refried beans. Those definitely could’ve used a lot more flavor. I also like having lettuce and sour cream on top of my chimichangas, but I’ll take what they gave me instead. Do you know what they gave me instead of lettuce and sour cream? Queso! They gave me a side of queso! Dude. Little Mexico is a great option for lunch. I’ll probably be back to dine-in and explore the dinner menu. For now, I can very confidently recommend it for lunch.

Went there for dinner; worst Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. Ordered the steak fajitas, veggies were bland and overlooked, steak strips were tough and rubbery. The margarita I ordered was«no bueno» either. Chicken soup was passable. Will not be going back.

The food was bland. Added salt and salsa to everything and Mede it better. $ 2.25 for a side of rice I did not care for or eat. It was ok but I would not return for the food.

Little Mexico’s quality and service have really gone south of the border. I’ve been going to this restaurant for a few years, but only once every few months. On my most recent trip, I noticed their service and quality had really gone down hill. The server did not offer to refill any of our drinks, we had to stop them just to get napkins, and their attitudes were not that great. Not rude, but not friendly like they used to be. The food is decent, but the salsa is junk. They do not use real salsa any more. They just use tomato sauce with some seasoning. It tasted more like Ragu than salsa. I think I’ll try a few other Mexican restaurants before I go back here again.

Good food. They have a large menu more than your typical Mexican restaurant. Good margaritas.

I expected a little more, given the reviews I read here on Unilocal and elsewhere. But while there was nothing obviously awful about Little Mexico, I am struggling for nice things to say. No good beers, cafeteria/food-court flavors, and about two dollars too pricey on each dish(for what you get). We found nothing exciting about the décor, staff or menu, and I suspect most of the food we got was pre-packaged. The steak in the steak burrito had a nice flavor but the rice and beans had none. I just can’t think of why I would refer anyone here, and probably won’t have a reason to return with so many other options in the area.
