Antheia Ballroom

I got married at the Anthiea ballroom almost six years ago and had a wonderful experience. This is why I recommended the venue to my best friend. This review is strictly my point of view as a matron of honor, not the bride. The ballroom this time was a much different vibe and experience than what I had remembered from my previous experience. This venue is gorgeous and the wedding turned out great, other than a few issues that had taken place with the staff and the owners of the ballroom.
We arrived at 3PM which is what time the bride at booked the ballroom, we weren’t greeted with any warm welcome, and the coordinator looked flustered and somewhat annoyed. After we arrived I didn’t see the venue coordinator (s) much, in fact I had to knock on the office door to ask a question.
The bad — Unfortunately there were issues just before the wedding and on the wedding day. The bride wanted a certain table setup like she had seen it at the open house, well the table wasn’t there. I’m not sure who’s ‘fault’ this was but when I asked for another table to be added so we could setup her candy bar it was a BIG deal, who knew?
About 30 minutes before the wedding began we noticed that we didn’t have a cake cutting set to cut the cake. I assumed the ballroom would have an extra for a time like this to rent but they did not. It would be nice for a wedding venue to have some backups.
Things may have changed from when I got married but we had zero help from the venue with packing things up. The bride had a coordinator she hired that was not employed by the venue but it would have been nice for the venue staff to provide some help. The father of the bride was in the process of wheeling the kegs out to his car when the Antheia bartender told him he could wheel it, he had to break his back to physically pick up the keg and move it with no help from the staff.
Overall the venue is beautiful and things went smoothly thanks to the coordinator the bride hired but the negatives overshadowed the positive. I wish I could say it was the same experience as I had with the previous owners.

Mother of the Bride here… This is a beautiful, intimate venue that had all the amenities that we were looking for right on site. Tables, chairs, linens, tableware, decorations, brides and grooms dressing rooms, bar, covered patio, kitchen etc. We worked closely with Colleen who was very responsive, patient and professional the entire lead up to the big day. She had many helpful suggestions and worked closely with us to ensure the night was beautiful and memorable. We received many wonderful compliments about the venue from guests. Lauren and Saul were very happy that evening and it was a great wedding and party. Highly recommend!

The venue is lovely. It’s elegant and romantic and it met my needs perfectly. It’s a bit pricey, but if you can fit it in your budget, they are more flexible than most places. They made sure it was «my» day and I had it the way I wanted it. :)

We had our rehearsal at Antheia but it is a great locale for a wedding as well. The one thing I was impressed the most about was Erica the owner and her attention to detail. All the stuff you forget because you are running around the day or two before the event, she will remind you of. A professional who knows what they are doing, has relationships with the vendors and likes their job and is a joy to work with is so important when everything has to go right. You can’t go wrong with Antheia or Erica

Well, I am a married woman now!
I had my wedding here last Wednesday and every last detail was executed to perfection by the staff. We chose the weekday wedding package which is an awesome value, there were so many rental items included that we barely needed to bring any or add on. We chose the bartending package as well and everyone was served their choice of beverage with a smile! Dealing with the owner; Erica, was amazing. She is so great and really goes above and beyond expectations. I wanted to hire the day of coordinator but couldn’t fit it into our limited budget, I definitely wish I would have found the money somehow because I have heard nothing but great things about Rebekah. Overall we had a beautiful ceremony for a great price and I couldn’t be happier with our choice. You have to go see the venue to really appreciate how beautiful it really is!

What a great place for a wedding. I had no idea it was that stunning on the inside! Staff is very friendly too. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a wedding place.
