After the ownership change this place has gone down hill, I felt very Unwelcome and awkward on my last visit, not to mention the new owners don’t have as good of taste in dresses. Very unfortunate because this place used to be very popular.

The dressing room for trying on wedding dressed was claustrophobic and VERY hot. Not a large selection of wedding dresses. Friendly staff.

I found this to be a great experience! Lani was professional, very courteous and we had no problems whatsoever. My daughter got a beautiful dress and we were very happy with the whole experience. We had made the mistake of trying to drop into the First Street bridal boutique. Although there wasn’t a soul in the place she dismissed us and told us they were by appointment only. We then went to Hermosa and found Lani to be warm, engaging and ready to make a sale! That’s my type of girl! It’s a great business!

I just simply loved my beautiful lace wedding dress!!! I got so many compliments of my wedding gown I even got asked for it to be in a photoshoot! good prices and lovely people. They also have a big selection of different designers which I loved, I didn’t even have to look anywhere else.:)

I can’t say I have a very in depth experience like most brides do here. I am a bridesmaid in a wedding. I didn’t go originally to pick out the dress. I received a call to pick up my dress and went to Snohomish to pick it up.
Now, I live in Snohomish and the area around the store is under construction and it took me twice as long to get there. When I did get there the store was warm. The girl asked if I wanted to try the dress on when in reality I wanted to grab it and run for the nice breeze outside.
The girl helping me gave me a weird vibe. I didn’t know where the dressing rooms were, but she looked at me like she would follow me. I just felt awkward. I tried the dress on and when I came out four employees were staring at me. By now my face is red and I’m sweating. She stands there next to me for a few minutes not doing anything as the dress hung limply off me because they convinced the bride to order a size too big for me. She then clipped the back so violently, I almost tipped over. After that I got out of the dress, paid my balance and ran. The AC in my car made me feel relieved.

Terrible service. They guarantee that you won’t have the same prom dress as others but LIE! Very dishonest and rude. I cannot believe they do business like this. The dress was even the wrong color. What a nightmare.

This place was decent they had sale dresses for 400 dollars ! They didn’t have slips or anything to try on the dresses which I didn’t like. The lady that help me was very sweet! The dress though aren’t that great:(but recommend for prom dresses or bridesmaids dresses

This place has horrible customer service. I picked my bridesmaids dresses for my wedding here because I live locally in Snohomish, there were 7 bridesmaid’s total which amounted to well over $ 1100 for Hermosa. Most of the dresses were ordered in April and my wedding was scheduled for Aug 30 which is plenty of time for the dresses to come in. Angie at Hermosa suggested ordering 3 mos in advance. When the dresses were ordered, she told me they would be in the last week of June. The dresses shipped in at different times in 4 different shipments starting in June. One of my bridesmaids ordered and paid on April 12, 2013. The dress did not come in until Aug 26, four days before the wedding. Since my bridesmaid works full time and there were no weekends left to get alterations, she had to take a day off work to deal with the dress. Hermosa agreed to do the alterations at a discount but did not cover the cost even though the shipping of the dress was a huge inconvenience. On top of that, the dress was not altered correctly. It was only half altered (the lining on the inside, the chiffon outside was left unaltered), resulting in her constantly tripping over the dress at the wedding. Also, it looked very unprofessional that her dress was so long in every picture. The dress was at least 7 inches too long and all the girls had gone through a significant amount of alterations because of the length of the dresses. During the last few weeks before the wedding, I talked to the owner’s daughter several times about my frustration and a backup plan in case we did not recieve the dress. She assured me that everything would work out. Clearly it did not and for the $ paid in dresses, we should have received better customer service. It is ridiculous to pay in full so far in advance for a non-​refundable dress that is only going to be used for one event, and then not even be comped for alterations. On top of that, my bridesmaid paid for alterations that were not completed. I have never filled out a bad review before, but I am really passionate about letting all brides know to watch out for this place. Your wedding is a special time and you should not have to worry about something small like dresses coming in on time especially when you paid someone for that service. They do not communicate well and we had to call them several times to even know what was going on with the dresses. I had planned to purchase my dress there as well as my groom was going to rent all the suits there (we even paid $ 40 to have one shipped in so he could try it on), but communication was so horrible that Angie did not even call back to let us know prices for the groomsmen. Also, when the suit was shipped in I had to call to know it was there, they never called me when a product came in. It was us calling them constantly, trying to figure out what was going on.
I have referred several people to Hermosa as I am in sales for a living and do event planning on the side. My sister-​in-​law and one of my co-​workers bought their wedding dresses at Hermosa because of my recommendation. I have a daughter that just started at Snohomish High, and from now on I will not give any more business to Hermosa Bridal. Normally I support small business but not at the cost of decent customer service. There are other dress shops in town.

Unfortunately I didn’t come back to get a dress here because I found the dress of my dreams somewhere else but I do highly recommend anyone to come here, because the dresses are gorgeous, they also have a sale room! And lots of cocktail/​prom/​special occasion dresses as well! I’m still grateful for the warm and friendly service I received!

Awesome family run boutique. I had a GREAT time here, especially after dealing with extreme rudeness at David’s bridal. I got the dress I wanted, with all of my specifications, right off the rack. They don’t have the same dress in a ton of sizes, I mostly saw size 10 – 14 on the rack, and only put a 4 star/​5 star because the in store selection is not enormous, if you are looking for anything outside of the 10 – 14 size. However, they DO have a great selection, the prices are $ 99 on up into the thousands, but mostly $ 600-​$ 900, I would say. Honestly, the staff are some of the nicest people I have met anywhere, and the consultant that helped me didn’t make me feel rushed or pressured, and even gave me two weeks to think it over, while she held the dress in the back, with no deposit. They only see one bride at a time for trying gowns on, though you can go look anytime. Also, saw TONS of amazing prom/​birthday party dresses. I definitely recommend them. Tons of styles and ability to order in your size.
