With humble beginnings This Place is a Zoo gradually increased its product line and now has over 1500 different stuffed animal products. It has become known throughout the world as one of the best stuffed animal sites on the web.

When I was a kid I wanted to be a wild animal catcher. I would read books by Frank Buck and daydream of the time when I could go out into the jungle and ‘bring ‘em back alive’. Well, that dream never materialized, but having a stuffed animal business is the next best thing! I am now surrounded by hundreds of realistic stuffed animals and every year I look forward to seeing what new items are coming out. I guess, in a way, this business is fulfilling my childhood dream in a round about way.
