Let me start by saying the first thing they should advertise on their web site. THEYHAVENOCELLSERVICE, unless you have At&t. they offer wifi in the lobby but not throughout the hotel. They don’t have courtesy phones or pay phones on the mountain so you can’t really get in contact with anyone. If you loose your crew, thats pretty much it, unless you have walkie talkies. prepare accordingly. The pool was scummy there was seriously a visible film on the top. The breakfast was decent, biscuits and gravy, but it was the same both days. The shuttle takes a while because they only have one that goes from the top to the bottom. It snowed a lot when we were there, so the roads were terrible and the shuttles took over an hour. Okay on a more positive note the staff is friendly. The hotel is old so it has wear and tear but for the most part it is clean. The tavern inside was closed so there are no bars that are easily accessible. I probably won’t stay here again, its worth the extra money to stay up higher.
