The Inn At Soap Lake

Wow was this a great place to stay. I have to say that when I saw pictures I was a little skeptical since the décor is kind of dated. It reminds me of an early 90s motel or my Grandma’s house. However, it’s very clean and the grounds are beautiful and well manicured. Our room had its own private little patio and the way everything is laid out definitely makes you feel like you are at a resort. I can see this being the kind of place you could go for a week and just relax and go to the beach. Our room had a kitchenette and a 2 person jacuzzi tub that had the mineral water from the lake pumped in. It was so perfect to soak in the healing waters right in our room. The inn also has a private beach that is very well maintained and had lots of chairs and lounges. Next time I am definitely going to stay for longer and bring some family and friends.

We stayed here for two nights. One night in a king suite with the jetted tub and one night in a queen room in the lodge. Both rooms were very nice and clean. We prefer the outside unit simply becuase it has a larger kitchenette and its own patio. We had our Golden with us so it was nice to let him lay out on the patio and just leave our front door open. Even for the people staying in the lodge they have a nice large outdoor patio area with plenty of seating and plenty of grills for everyone. They take great care of the grounds and the outdoor lighting at night is really nice. We would definitely go back here in heartbeat.
Bottom line: This is a very nice pet friendly place to stay. Highly recommended.
