History

Established in 2001.

The owner was a long time surfer who fell in love with kiteboarding. He noticed that there

were not any real kiteboard shops in town So we opened Xdream Sports which later

Changed its name to Amped Boardsports. Now thousands of happy customers later

were still here Still catering to kiteboarders, but now we branched out into carrying many top SUP brands and have a large variety of Surfboards as well

Business Owner

John was born and raised in San Diego. Sports wise I played ice Hockey from 6 to 13 years of age. Then got into martial arts and Riding Moto cross off and on. i started

surfing when i turned 15 and have not stopped since. We like to take the family on

Nice surf and kite trips and have traveled through out California, Hawaii, Mexico.

Fiji, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and australia surfing, Suping and Kiting. We love what

we do. Business wise. I worked In the Beverage distribution industry from very young age

until i was about 40 and fell in love with kiteboarding. We started a shop a about a year later and here we are today.
