Baby Mabel’s

I live out of state and someone gave me some gifts from Baby Mabels. Even though we were past their return policy date, Jennifer the store manager of their Solana Beach location was incredibly generous and helpful with accepting our gifts and allowing us to exchange them for other items. I am so appreciative as she could have easily done nothing and we would have been stuck with clothing which didn’t fit. After sending back the clotting to Baby Mabels, Jennifer texted me some photos of other items and we eventually decided on a couple outfits. Thank you again for being so nice, we really appreciate it!

At first glance this is a really cute boutique. I had just finished shopping for some new shoes across the street at «Cedros Soles”(which is fabulous btw) but I had my 2 year old daughter in tow who was very hyper. So after we bought mommy some new shoes I went over to Mabel’s to see about getting my daughter some new shoes as well. A girl at Cedro’s Soles referred me over there. It has all the makings of a nice boutique and me and my daughter went straight to the toddler section in hunt of their shoe selection. Well my daughter found the thomas the tank train set up to keep kids busy.
There was a nice big chair for mommies to kick up there heels so after I saw their HORRIBLE shoe selection I sat down for a SECOND to respond to a text, and here comes the woman working…
(she gives me this hideous glare)» can i help YOU with something?” She says to me in a very rude and insulating way (like who do you think you are inside MY store). And I responded «no was just catching my breathe… and is this your entire shoe selection?» and shes said «YES»
and walked away. Then again I told her that i was new to the are and if she knew of any other places to get toddler shoes… she says to me dryling «nordstroms» i replied that i do not like the mall. But anyways this lady was extremely rude and made me feel unwelcome.
Because of the rude service I will not be returning to this shop again… it’s a shame since I live so close and had a toddler to spoil.

This is a great baby shop featuring really cool hip fashions for both moms and babies. Owned by three sisters who love to shop and are also moms. The three were inspired by their Aunt Mabel who had Audrey Hepburn-​style fashion sense which during her time was very innovative and creative. Their items express that same essence in fashion that is all about today.
The car seat covers are the best! And they also carry cool accessories such as something called a Lalapanzi which is a padded Moses basket thing to carry your baby around from room to room while they snooze.
The women’s retail shop next store is for when the kids get a little bit older and mom can actually go out and have some fun.
