History

Established in 2003.

The David Alan Collection evolved from blending the great passions of David’s life: his love of art, design, furniture and a long-​standing appreciation for third world craft and artistry.

The David Alan Collection was the next logical step for the man who has a degree in art, owned a high-​end wood business — Cut & Dried Hardwood– for nearly two decades and was once owner of Trios art gallery, which received much acclaim and brought numerous high profile artists to the small town of Solana Beach.

From remote villages throughout Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Tibet and elsewhere, he has personally selected each piece in the collection for its beauty, harmony, integrity and soul.
