Workers are nice. Love this location. They have an outside patio for you to eat at, if you don’t want to eat inside.

Used to come here a lot when I went to middle school around the corner. Good times coming here during lunch. They give you good portions of food and the ladies are always nice when I come into the store.

Stopped in here last night for a quick bite on our way back from Orange County. It was 8:30, and I was taken aback by about 10 employees, on either side of the counter. It appeared to be a cleaning party. They were furiously wiping down the sneeze guard over the food/steam tables. Thought they may be closed(scheduled close is 9pm) but noticed they still had food on the line. I was hesitant to order, if they were cleaning over the open food, but since I saw no sprays, and it was late, we placed our order. There was a man behind the workers who neither smiled or greeted us but was wearing a Panda Express logo’d shirt and he simply scowled at the workers. Other workers took to the dining area, wiping down chairs, booths, and sweeping the floors. As we received our food, and were sitting down, this unpleasant man, Jim according to his name tag, called everyone over. He began scolding(for lack of a better word) their performance. He spoke down to the workers. Then he called them to another area, closer to where I sat with my boyfriend. He proceeded to single one guy out who had continued cleaning, and asked condescendingly why the man hadn’t joined the group? Did he understand what the word«all» meant, etc. I was appalled by Jim’s behavior to single the worker out amongst peers, but also to do so in front of guests. I’m guessing this Jim is the franchise owner. I’m giving a 2-star rating only because the food and service was decent, but the experience was awful due to this rude man who should brush up on his management skills and learn to motivate his team to better performance rather than being rude, and shaming them. And he should never have supervised cleaning of sheets shields during hours when hot food was still being served and/or where clients had to witness his poor management style.

Was just in this place and being helped and they helped the person behind me before I was finished and they ran out of an item that I ordered before she could put it in a box. Wtf??? You really expect the person you are helping to be happy that they have to wait because the person that came in behind you gets helped before your employees can help one person! 2 times this week with problems at this place. Never again!!!

Generally speaking Panda Express is garbage. The food is hardly asian. The spices are weak, the flavors are bland, the noodles taste weird, the sauces have way too much sugar, and there is generally way to much water in the entrees. For instance, I get a small al a carte Kung Pao Chicken, half, 50% is water. When I got it home I poured out all the water pretending to be sauce and the container was half full of chicken and other ingredients. So, it’s a total rip off. Sadly there are not many low cost Chinese restaurant in North County. Even so, I gladly skip this garbage dump.

This panda is short staffed. The workers don’t seem to have any sense of urgency. Probably internal work politics.. the food portions are very small. Always have long lines. If you don’t ask for hot or soy sauce they don’t give it to you. The food tastes good overall They just need improvements.

Went at 6:30 pm today – not such an odd time to show up for dinner. Rice and chicken were painfully dry and in short supply. No spring rolls to be found. The vegetables were wilted and sad. I ate a carrot that had the texture of Wonder bread. I guess this Panda isn’t special – all depends on who’s working!

Every frickin time I get here…“the fryers are already off” according to the lazy folks that run this place. This ia the third time in as many months im headed to the grocery store because they close 30 mins before closing. I juat watched a party of 4 leave for the same reason… thats money walking out the door mr. Manager. Five meals worth just now… at 840. 20 mins before you close.

The good: it’s not busy. The bad: rude and rookie staff(my server name was Yan), smaller portions, She gave me almost half empty bowl and when I asked to add more orange chicken, she put one more piece of orange chicken! :) Anyway, it’s another Panda. The food is not very different than other Pandas.

This Panda Express is probably the only location that isn’t stingy with their portions. Valerie is great! She is so nice and delivers excellent customer service. I live in vista and I don’t like going to the one off sycamore. Id rather come to this location. Everyone is super nice and it’s always clean.

I’ve had better Panda Express meals. Not sure why this one is less than satisfying… but the broccoli was soggy and the mushroom chicken was bland, and the fried rice was under seasoned. So as far as the food was concerned, we were underwhelmed. What worked here? Same great portions one expects at Panda and very clean accommodations. Service was also excellent.

I went to my local Panda Express recently and there was only one vegan/vegetation option. The woman behind the counter said there were no tofu options and no other choices, so I was left with no option but to eat the wilty & tasteless mixed veggie dish. So disappointed. But today in Solana Beach I decided to pop in and see if other Panda Express restaurants still have tofu options. The lovely Alicia behind the counter told me that in 4 – 5 minutes they could whip me up the eggplant/tofu dish. She also explained that many dishes can be made upon request. The food was hot and delicious and the customer service was so good that I may be driving out here from Poway more often!

I love Panda Express! Did you know that they offer a brown fried rice option? I didn’t. You can’t lose with the grilled Teriyaki chicken no sauce… yum!

The food is typical… these chain places are basically all the same. But the people that work there are rude. And there always seems to be an issue… no ice, broken soda machine, out of popular dishes. I would never go here on my own, but the kids like it and it is cheap/easy.

Panda Express … as far as fast food goes is in my top 5 most frequented«got to each quick» places with Chipolte as my #1. The service at this location is solid and the food is what you would expect. My only advice would be to not go during peak lunch hours and this location does get busy during those times in my experience.

Every Panda Express is essentially the exact same thing, and why shouldn’t they be? They’re a chain, right? Well my review for this particular Panda is essentially only to point out the HORRIBLE music choices these people have chosen to play. Seriously, it feels like you’re in an elevator inside a dentist’s office. I never thought that I would be subjected to Clay Aiken’s dated hits as well as other bits of soft rock while trying to enjoy my kung pao chicken and steamed rice. The food’s decent for fast food chinese, but isn’t soft rock reserved for the places we hate to be in? Come on, people for the most part hate going to the dentist or the doctor, and of course you don’t want to be stuck in an elevator with some larger than life guy who inconveniently although accidentally passes gas. Let’s save the soft rock for those wonderful moments instead, shall we?
