I have been to multiple acupuncturist around the world and Raymond is by far the best I’ve ever been to. I highly recommend his professionalism.

I’ve seen many acupuncturists and I would rate him as just below average. He also sells way overpriced herbs that you can find online for a third of the price. Don’t buy his products. I would consider another acupuncturist if I were you.

My first experience with acupuncture was a desperate act at something I knew nothing of, but I saw an ad in the Reader and had an open mind. I went to an old(and I mean old) Chinese man(straight out of Kung Fu Theater) and he performed a miracle on me. I took me 20 minutes to crawl into his office and after an hour I walked out with 100% mobility and no pain. The Dr. told me that when your body is hurt, it stops you from hurting it more by restricting movement. He told me that he basically reset my movement, but told me I was still injured and had to take it easy for a while. Like I said, a miracle. Years later, I injure my back again and look for this old Kung Fu Master, but the old guy had died(at about 100). So I went to a cute massage therapist that I knew, that was very enthusiastic completing her acupuncture training. Not only did her treatment have no affect, but she burned me with with the Maksa(cigar like treatment that heats up needle), and gave me a nasty scar on my ankle. But her massage skills were so good, I let it go. So I decided that I needed to find the oldest, wisest, Chinese acupuncture master and go to him. I asked around and Dr. Woo(don’t call him Kanga) was by far, known as the best. I rushed over for treatment and was very happy with the results. I didn’t get another miracle treatment, but my injury was more complicated(bad car accident). So even though Dr. Woo wasn’t the 100 year old, Kung Fu Theater looking type, he is respected by his peers as being the best in San DIego. His receptionist/office manager kind of lost her temper with me over payment though. I told her from the start that the insurance company of the guy who hit me was going to pay. I told her if they didn’t pay, then my insurance would pay. She agreed to those terms, but then wanted to get paid faster. To her defense, she didn’t know me and was getting nervous. But I finally got his insurance to pay, and all is good.
