These people have a HORRIBLE business sense. I was just hung up on by Armand the «manager» after calling to complain that the service they performed did not work. This guy was a COMPLETE JERK. Our apartment was serviced for cockroaches, meaning that we had to take EVERYTHING out of our kitchen and bathroom and vacate our house for 4 hours. When I came home, there was a sloppy mess of powder strewn throughout our kitchen, and cockroaches still roaming about. I figured that it would take some time and they would die. Nope. They are still everywhere. I called to have them come out and do a proper job and was told that I would be responsible to pay $ 120. SERIOUSLY??! I don’t think so. Why should anything come out of my pocket when you didn’t do your job correctly in the first place? On top of a poor job being done, I’m now going to have this jerk talk to me like it’s MY FAULT and then hang up? Maybe the fumes have gotten to his head. If you are looking to have a good job done and be treated with proper customer service then DO NOT USE THESE JERKS. And Armand, take a business class along with some anger management. Update: Of course Armand is going to say that I was cursing and yelling, when in fact HE was the one yelling at me. Vester was ALREADY PAID ONCE by my management company, yet wanted to be paid again by the new management company to fix the poor job they already did. They were paid for nothing. If you do a job, and you are paid, it better be done right. In any business you don’t charge to fix what you did improperly. My advice is to read all of the other reviews on here, and notice Armand’s response. He ALWAYS puts the blame on everyone but his company. It is very clear that not only do they have bad customer service, they take no responsibility for themselves. I work in customer service myself, and I understand that my clients are my EVERYTHING, without them I don’t have a business, and I would do anything to make sure they are happy. I’m actually blown away by how rude, defensive and nasty this guy is. The reviews don’t lie, don’t give this company a dime.

We recently sold our home and as part of the process were required to obtain a termite clearance. We contacted 3 companies, Vester Pest Control was one of them. Armen came onsite and did a full assessment, As we expected his findings were the same as the other companies, which was that we needed to be tented. Our situation was more complex than the usual tenting because the process required that a stucco wall that joined us to a neighboring home would need to be cut. Also, we had a tile roof that was over 25 years old that we feared would be damaged in the tenting process.
First, the work occurred right on schedule. The wall was cut and then expertly repaired by their stucco guy, who was as good as any I have seen (and I had a general contractors license for many years). The tiles broken by the tenting process were repaired. We also paid extra ($ 200.00) to have a number of additional long-​needed roof repairs made, The work was performed on time, as agreed to and was expertly accomplished. The stucco and roofing guys were particularly impressive.
I strongly recommend Armen and the Vester team. I would mention also that even with adding their «Tile Roof Warranty» package the price was less than the other three estimates I received from the other companies. Armen was clear about how the process would work, when I needed to contact SDGE to turn the gas back on, etc. He explained the process thoroughly and also gave us detailed instructions in writing. His assistant Anna was also great to work with and we appreciated her detailed communications. Nobody wants to have to have their home tented for termites, but if you have to, I could not recommend them more strongly.

We just had our home tented, subterranean termite treated, and replaced termite damaged wood all done by Vester. Armen was great to work with and helped us qualify for clearance on our VA loan. There is a tiny bit of work that needs to be completed by a subcontractor. We are sure that will be no problem. We highly recommend Vester for professional work at a competitive price.

When Armen first came out to conduct a termite inspection for my house which was in escrow, he seemed straight-​forward and reliable. He found some beams in our pergola that obviously needed replacement and assured us his guys could do it, no problem. During the repair/​replacement process his guys broke one of our sprinkler heads and simply attached a pvc pipe to the end so water poured straight into the ground (the pipe actually fell over the next day when the sprinklers went off). The posts, which they replaced, were obviously leaning, I didn’t need a level to see the crooked angle. My husband returned from work as the men were finishing and he addressed the sprinkler head and the leaning posts and they said there was nothing they could do about it. We took pictures and emailed them to Vester immediately. 2 days later we called because we heard nothing from the company or Armen. Armen apologized for the poor work and sent someone out to fix the sprinkler and evaluate the posts. The guy fixed the sprinkler and repainted some beams and left. About a week and a half later my husband called Armen because they still had not done anything about the crooked pergola. He began making accusations that my husband had yelled at his guys (he did not) and that he would not be working with us but would work with the buyer instead. The buyer’s agent called Armen and said he was belligerent and rude. We collaborated with the agent to make up a timeline of correspondence with the company, got a quote from an independent contractor, and sent all of that to Armen. At that point he decided to work with us. His guys came out and fixed the posts and Armen got paid. All in all, it took around 3 weeks to get the company to do the work they were hired to do and had assured us they would/​could do. That is terrible business. I would never recommend this company and would never work with them again.

Tech was checking birds nests in the attic and stepped on a light socket which dislodged it and had to be fixed out of my own pocket. Also he did un-​authorized repairs by covering the vent holes without verifying I wanted it done the ugly way he did and without first removing the nest debris which he said he couldn’t remove. I ended up buying a shop-​vac and fixing the issue myself. Horrible experience & a huge WASTE of TIME!

Vester Pest Control is go to company. Professional, experienced, expeditious, knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and kind.
Choosing a pest control company is complicated process.
I worried much about it, judging by previous experience but it turned out to be the most positive outcome.
Working with Anna and Maria was absolutely wonderful! Not only I got the highest quality of service and fair price, they have also patiently educated my on topics unknown, easing up the process.
As we all know, selling property is a very trying time when whatever could go wrong, does!
Anna did everything in her power to make this process smooth and expedient. Thank you!

I just used Vestor Pest Control for the first time. They are very efficient, and showed up when they were scheduled with very little to do on our end. More than anything, they were very fair with their pricing and accommodated my requests. I would recommend them to anyone, especially first time buyers.

I have used Vestor Pest Control for three years now and find them to be one of the better pest control companies I have used. I used them on my investments properties & for my clients. They are efficient, fast, honest and good at customer service.

Bottom Line Up Front:
When they found out the inspection was for a Veterans Affairs refinancing, my house went from «termite free» to «evidence of infestation.»
Any company who would try to make a buck because they know you need their certification is morally and ethically bankrupt. And should be financially bankrupt as well.
I would leave zero stars if I could.
Nothing upsets me more than when someone tries to take advantage of me and my family.
Disgraceful.

Robert A just can in and did the inside and out of my house. I thought the ants were going to carry my house away! Robert said to give it 48 hours, and I haven’t seen an ant (or any other bug) since. Super friendly and comfortable doing business with!

When I first met Armen I thought I found a pest control company that I could depend on. What a mistake! I spoke with Armen in detail about our needs and he suggested tenting, subterranean treatment, and 3 month maintenance package. As I was leaving on a 6 week vacation he said it would be best to have it done while we were gone. He told me they would do the subterranean treatment and the tenting and he would be by to see if that dealt with the ants or if he needed to do something more. He assured me that he would take care of everything and that his company did this all the time. I followed all the directions to prepare the house and asked once again if there was anything I needed to know.
6 weeks later after a long flight home from Australia I come to a house with no gas. The gas had been shut off and in CA you must call the gas company to turn it back on. It was 8pm on a Friday night and they would not be available to turn it on until Wednesday. When I called Armen, he screamed at me for calling on a Friday night and hung up on me! When he finally spoke to me again he did not apologize, he just stated that it was in the contract!

Utility gas will be turned off, in cases where pilots will not remain lit, or where the heater, water heater, or oven are old and special expertise is needed in lighting, we will request that you contact the gas company to relight the pilot.
I would have thought that if you do business in CA and know the law that a nice professional businessman would have told me that this was something that I needed to take care of, but he promised me that there was nothing I needed to do besides the to prep the house.
He never even did the subterranean treatment, never came back to check on the ant situation and never apologized.
I will never use his company again!

Vester’s Team is «Grade A», I was referred to Armen Abramyan a year ago when we were having issues with Termite’s causing problems outside on our oversized trellis. Armen also found problems in the corners of our home closest to the trellis. We had them fix the trellis, exterminate the pests and we even tented our home to end any unknown pests that might be hiding in the spaces we couldn’t see.
I’m not a bug person and we were having spiders and dust bugs inside of our home what seemed like every other day !! Armen run’s a tight team… I could tell by his leadership and direction that he knows what he’s doing and that put my anxiety at rest and created trust by following through and making the whole process very smooth. I would recommend him to all friends and family if ever they run into the same issues we did !!

We decided to use Vester Pester to perform an inspection for a refinance and were extremely disappointed. We made an appointment and the guy showed up to our house, but to our surprise he left two minutes later without saying anything to us. He did not even come inside the house. He simply put the inspection tag in our garage, saying that the inspection was completed. When I called the office to ask what had happened, I was told that sometimes the inspection is a full one and sometimes not. However, judging from the price they had quoted us ($ 55), this should have been a full inspection. Since the lady I spoke to had no idea why the inspector had left without even coming inside the house, I was told I needed to call him directly. Well, I called and was told that since I only wanted the paperwork for a refinance, he had just walked around the house and put the inspection tag up in our garage! Really??? Does this place just charge people $ 55 for paperwork without even doing the work? I actually wanted to know whether we had termites in our house and it was not simply because of the refi that we were going to pay $ 55. Letting them know that we were not going to pay $ 55 without actually having a proper inspection done, the guy came back the next day and sure enough, we had termites! When asking him why he did not see the infested areas (which were on the outside of the house) the day before, he told me that he simply walked around the house looking for dryrot (not even termites). Anyway, he ended up telling us that we had to pay $ 400 to get it treated. And I must also add that this was the company that had performed our inspection when we first bought our house last year. That time too, he told us we had termites and we paid a fortune to have it treated. And now, a little more than a year later, we have termites again, despite the work that they did last year. I would not trust the work quality or ethics of this company for anything. Take your business elsewhere and pay companies that will actually do the work for you (and not just take your money to give you a certificate)!

We have been using Vester’s services for the past 2 years. More so, since we moved to a new house with a bigger back yard. Vester’s pricing is quite competitive, and we did shop around a bit, before deciding to sign a contract with Vester. One of the reasons we settled with the Vester is that the company’s owner, Armen, is a former doctor of veterinary medicine, so he is very knowledgeable: should you have a question or concern, he is able to educate you in details on the chemicals they utilize, and their safety for pets and humans. His technician, Edward, is very pleasant and thorough. They are flexible, and whenever we run into an urgent pests’ issue — like ants or spiders, — they make a visit ASAP. Besides, have I mentioned Vester’s VERY competitive pricing? We highly recommend this business.

A friend recommended Vester Pest Control. She was also our realtor and recommends them on a regular basis. We’re new homeowners and we had to deal with termites right away. We were able to get a quote right away and their prices were far below their competition in the area.
After a quick inspection, we had a team here spraying and replacing fascia around our windows. Everything was done exceptionally well; they repainted the trim and left no trace when they left. I highly recommend Vester Pest Control.
