What a breath of fresh air!
Hanna is an amazing community for my two kids and for my family. I was lucky enough to stumble upon this very small nursery school two years ago. Just looking through the gate, I could see it was the right place. Brightly decorated with charm and a beautiful outdoor classroom.
Then I had the opportunity to visit with the school director, Sarah who is really lovely, informative and helpful. She shared how the waiting list works and I was very disappointed my daughter wouldn’t be able to enroll in the transition program. We had to wait for the next school year and enroll her in the afternoon 3 day program. While this program is challenging from a scheduling standpoint, my daughter really thrived here. Hanna provides a creative, loving and emotionally in-​tune environment for kids to grow and learn. The difference in my daughter in a week at Hanna verses her prior pre-​school was notable. She LOVED Hanna! Her teachers, Kendra and Marissa both have a passion for teaching and really take cues from the kids interest to develop the curriculum focus. This appears to have the kids more engaged in the activities. They did a phenomenal job creating a class art-​piece for the year end school fundraiser. The kids were all so proud and came together as a team. Amazing for 3 and 4 year old kids!
I have also had the chance to participate in the parent-​tot program with my son. What a great 9 months. I had him on the waiting list very early due to my experience with my daughter not being able to be enrolled at the ideal time. For me, this class was a big commitment because I work full time, but it was worth the accommodations I had to make at work. The parent-​tot program is a true immersion for little kids into the classroom, developing early friendships, fine tuning skills to get ready for school. The parent education portion is also very valuable and a wonderful way to really develop strong relationships with other parents.
I can’t rave enough about this school and what is has already done for my kids and my family. We appreciate this experience in so many ways.
